Are you intentionally lying? Straight from your source: "The surprise, as in the new Rasmussen Reports survey of the GOP gubernatorial primary, is the growing strength of Debra Medina, a businesswoman active in the states Tea Party movement. Medina now edges White 41% to 38%."

It looks like Medina would be a strong candidate against Bill White as well...even though Perry's people are intentionally spreading rumors to the contrary. They are also making false statements that a vote for Medina will somehow split the vote or help Bill White in the election...this is patently false and seems to indicate that Medina is turning a lot heads in Texas.

This is excellent news, given that White is perhaps the strongest Democrat in Texas electorally. A Republican of Libertarian bent is something we need more of. Since most of Ron Paul’s critics aim their criticism at his foreign policy, they can’t use that to justify opposing Medina.

On what planet do posters on conservative site have to
justify opposing a liberal?
Social issues are issues that matter.

BS.
People need to pull back and ask exactly who is really behind Medina and why she a person with no experience is running for the highest office in our state?
I consider this an insult the people of Texas.

One thing I’ve learned here on FR. Once someone determines they are for a candidate they will not generally consider any facts contrary to that decision.
Those for Medina aren’t going to accept the obvious. You could have the facts signed and notorized but it will not change their vote for her.
Unfortunately the people will learn the hard way like they have with Obama, should she capture this election. If she looses she has already done damage.

Why does she have to begin her political career at the top? Let her prove her worth first. Even nObama was a senator for 143 days.

Where do you think "they" come from? You would complain about any candidate whose name isn't Rick Perry.

Media for Texas Gov? NO! Let her run for something else first.Amen! People are getting all worked up about her because she's new to the scene, but look a little closer, folks.
She's a Ron Paul Libertarian who doesn't have a good grasp on how laws work in Texas.
She appears sympathetic to "immigrants" and is running a lot of ads in Spanish. She even talks about how we need to be more concerned about "Hispanics." Yes, she panders.
While I would love to see our State House get some new, conservative blood, Medina is not it.
