Yes it was the crowd pleasing statement! Of course there were others too, but she nails the feelings of us patriots right on the head! I loved her comment about media being invited to the Tea Party Convention but not into Congress when they work behind closed doors!! :)

The reality is that any legislation that allows the illegal aliens to stay and work here is an amnesty. They are at the front of the line. I am disturbed by some of Palin's recent language on the issue on the Rusty Humphries show.
Question: Please ask Sarah her position on illegal aliens and closing our southern border. Thank you.
Palin: We need to close the borders. They are called illegal aliens for a reason and if they are not going to follow the rules they should not be in our country. It’s pretty simple. I ratcheted that one down to the simple answer because it’s an easier answer than some politicians want it to make it be: you close the borders. You get more agressive about cracking down on the illegal aliens and we take it seriously what our border patrol officers are trying to do.
What rules is she talking about? They shouldn't be here period. And compare her statement with Obama's in the SOTU:
Obama: "And we should continue the work of fixing our broken immigration system -- to secure our borders and enforce our laws and ensure that everyone who plays by the rules can contribute to our economy and enrich our nation.
McCain: In his comments to reporters Tuesday, McCain took on some of those in his party who call the bill amnesty.
"Anything short of rounding up 12 million people and deporting them is called amnesty by the opponents of this legislation," he said. "I'll point out that (illegal immigrants) will have to pay back taxes, they'll have to pay a fine, they'll have to go back to their country of origin, and it's at least 15 years before they are in anyway eligible for citizenship."

You know - how nice it would be for the members of the press who were there to be sat down in a room full of, say, 50 tea partyers. No Cameras or mics. No need for a “leader” to be there. Just talking about the nation and its problems and what it means to THEM of this nation doesn’t turn around and go in another direction - the direction designed for it by our founders who were led by the Holy Spirit Himself in writing our founding documents and in fighting for our freedom from the start.
I know that would probably not be enough to “deprogram” them from their NPR and University brainwashing - but it might nake a good start in that direction - at least for some of them.
For others on the press crowd we need to understand that if they could get away with killing all of us in that room they would think they were doing god and this nation a very worthwhile service,,,,,

America needs Sarah Palin but also needs the Tea Party movement.
The only people who fear us/her are those who are in entrenched places of corrupt power.

I’ve always known that Sarah is uniquely special, but hearing this from you, my long and trusted friend, she is a class apart from all others. “You betcha” she will always have my prayers and I think we should pray heartedly for her safety and health and the same for her beautiful and loving family. She is sacrifcing a lot of her time to serve her country and we are most gratefu, humbled and honored by her.
I am so inspired by your words and here I thought I was already inspired by watching Sarah!
