There aren't any major differences in beliefs between "Tea Party" activists and the Republican Party, the top House Republican said Thursday.
House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) said the GOP and the groups conservative activists across the country are indistinguishable when it comes to policy.
"There really is no difference between what Republicans believe in and what the tea party activists believe in," Boehner said during an appearance on the conservative Mike Gallagher's radio show.

Who was it pushing the crap sandwich called TARP when Americans were screaming at the top of their lungs to sh*tcan it? Answer: it included Boehner/Cantor/McConnell
Who was it that tried to push Amnesty down America's throat? Just the dems?
Who was it that hasn't lifted one finger in 25 years to kill off ANY federal department, agency, or bureaucracy? Just the Dems?
Who was it that helped pass on a dumb as a brick, leftist "wise latina" to the SCOTUS for life.
Who was it that spent so much damn money and couldn't articulate a reason for existing that the American people elected democrats to replace them in Congress?
Who was it, tooth fairies, that decided to support and nominate a walking RINO cadaver for the GOP ticket?
Boehner once again proves that he has the IQ of a Pop-Tart.
Just vote them OUT!
Rebellion is brewing!!
I can think of plenty of differences.
Does the name “Scozzafava” ring a bell, Mister Boehner?
“Whoa Nelly.

Add to that:
Have the Republicans cut back on state and federal worker pensions?
Have the Republicans cut back on welfare and gone after welfare fraud?
Whatever he’s smoking certainly must be illegal!
Tea Party: Constituional rhetoric ——> direct action without compromise.
Republicans: Constitutional rhetoric ——> generally compromise with Democrats.
Conclusion: If you were offered you a strawberry sundae with just a little bit of dog sh*t in it, would you take a nice big spoonful?
Boehner’s not dumb—he’s conniving and corrupt.
No, Boehner is absolutely right. Why, our party platform in Texas is very “Tea Partyish”, it’s just that our Rs in Texas simply don’t realize that their professed beliefs and their actions need to be consistent. The same thing is true at the national level.
John, get back to us when you and the slack jawed, mouth-breathing R’s in DC learn to connect their alleged beliefs and their actions. ;-)
The tea party doesn't have a corner market on the conservative agenda, because it's born out of the conservative republican side.
The problem is there are a lot of elected Republicans who don't even pretend to be conservative, and a lot who do pretend to be conservative, and a minority who actually are conservative.
Boehner is 100% right.
There is no difference between what the Tea Party believes and what the Republican party say they believe.
But when the rubber hits the road and it’s time to push conservativsm, negotiate a bill and vote...that’s where we Tea Partiers often part ways with Boehner.
I get a chill when Boehner’s name comes up as the next Speaker of the House........sheesh!
Only a lib would see no difference between the two....
