The solution is not to “bring down” the Federalist Papers so the populace can understand it, we need to “bring up” the education level of the populace to meet the lofty level of our Founders.

This point should be drive home to Sarah Palin, and if she reflects upon time spent with John McCain on the campaign trail, the point will ring a loud bell.

She should not campaign for someone whose political beliefs differ greatly from her own.

I always wondered why McCain never spoke out strongly against obama, never went for the jugular vein when he had ample opportunity to do so..he seemed restrained on purpose. Now I know...McCain is a progressive as is obama.
And his policies bear this out, with the exception of the military.

I totally agree. Better to struggle through the archaic language, improve your vocabulary, and learn the nuances of words. A lot of content can be lost that way.
Thank you for your contribution to the program. I made note of the books mentioned and will add them to my list. I have already read Liberal Fascism. My husband and I ran into a recent graduate from Hillsdale College at Starbuck's this evening. She knew of the other professors who appeared with you and figured her older brother, who was a history/poli-sci major, would have studied under them.
