Im Scott Brown, Im from Wrentham, I drive a truck, and have I got a girl for you.
In a cringe-worthy, Ohmigod, DAD! moment, U.S. Sen.-elect Brown channeled Chuck Woolery during Tuesday nights acceptance speech.
I want to thank Ayla and Arianna for their help as well, Brown said. And just in case anyone whos watching throughout the country, yes, theyre both available!

As a Father, I can tell you it is our JOB to embarrass our children from time to time, now granted its not usually on national TV, but still it is not only our right, but our DUTY to do so.
Don’t think I would have done what Mr. Brown did to embarrass my own daughter, unless of course I had to take her down a peg or two.
I actually thought it was pretty harmless. Theyre cute girls, and this was a basic Dad joke. I dont know why people are flipping out over it.
Glenn Beck is going nuts over it ...
I want his every move watched in Washington. I dont trust this guy This one could end with a dead intern. Im just saying, it could end with a dead intern.
Needless to say, Glenn Beck has gone off on the deep end and is crazy... :-)
But, at least Scott Brown and his family do know how to live like normal people and not slink around like something is wrong...
And one of his daughters was on American Idol... :-)
Former American Idol Ayla Brown arrives to the American Idol Season 5 Finale
on May 24, 2006 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California.
And furthermore Brown also announced to the nation that his daughters were available... LOL... (and it was a funny moment...)
"Just in case anyone who's watching throughout the country, yes they're both available,"
Brown said of daughters Ayla, 21, and Arianna, 19.
"And just in case anyone who's watching throughout the country they're both available. No, no. No. Only kidding, only kidding. Only kidding, only kidding. Arianna... Arianna's, definitely not available. But Ayla is. This is Arianna. This is Ayla. I can see I'm going to get in trouble when I get home."
Senator Scott Browns daughters Ayla and Arianna Brown,
and at least one is available, as the Senator has stated.
And both of his daughters have been around and are "world-aware" too, from what I can see...
Take a look at Ayla Brown's background just to see what she's been involved with. She's no dumb bunny here... :-)
There's not as much about Arianna Brown, but I did find something here... [the language is a bit stilted in the article, but looks like it's a foreign source]
Arianna Brown
January 20, 2010 by shezabArianna Brown is the younger of the two daughters Scott Brown has fathered in his wedlock with his spouse Gail Huff. Arianna Brown is a passionate girl in to her last teenage year. The charming faced nineteen years old Arianna Brown is preoccupied with the course of her first year studies at the renowned Syracuse University. The elder of the two daughters, twenty one years old Ayla Brown, is busy with final year of studies at Boston College.
Despite their academic fixates both Ayla and Arianna Brown were active members in their fathers campaign for the Senate seat during the Mass Elections. The two fair ladies were also very aggressive in countering any propaganda initiated by the opposing Martha Coakley and defended their father loud and clear when it came to sensitive issues such as abortion. Be wary of the fact that the late Senator, Edward Kennedy, was all for abortion rights and acts. Thus it was a hint his successors would need to take lead from.
Arianna Brown said that her father, Scott Brown, was not only good at handling the responsibilities of a dad but also that of a bread winner and hubby. She specifically stated that the seasoned politician was always concerned and updated with issues pertaining to the 3 women in his life and, as a consequence, would not be wary of his duties towards the other female citizens of the United States of America.
Scott Brown must surely be a proud father to have daughters like Arianna Brown and her elder sister.
And... American Idol Finalist -- Ayla Brown (Senator-elect Scott Brown's daughter)
Ayla Brown - Reflection
[YouTube video of her performance]
Naturally, some harridan with two last names wouldn’t have any idea about “Dad humor” ... if he had chosen to abort them, or was getting blow jobs in the oval office from girls their age, she would be fine with it though.
It would have been funnier if he had mentioned that there’s a 40-page application form just to get a review for adequacy to speak to his lovely darlings... /father of 2 girls
Ayla Brown was an American Idol contestant in season 5 and she reached the semifinals.
She cited her American Idol as her parents. She aspired to be a professional basketball player,
and currently plays in the NCAA. She is also a recording artist.
It showed he had the same concerns as any typical father. And the daughters' reaction was typical. Actually, it was enjoyable and refreshing to watch! : )
Bump
“Needless to say, Glenn Beck has gone off on the deep end and is crazy... :-) “
that ‘libertarian’ should stick to outing Obama’s czars
Whats the fun of being the father of teen-aged girls if you cant embarrass them in public?
My daughter pretends to hate when I do that, but she knows its all in fun.
<><><><><><><
LOL. How often have you done it on national TV. Ups the stakes (and potential stalkers) just a bit, as the one daughter said she had 1100 inquiries on her facebook page overnight.
Innocent intentions, clearly. And will likely not bring down the republic.
Exactly. It’s one of a father’s greatest joys to mortify his daughter(s)publicly. I thought it was really cute and showed them to be a real family not just some mannequins on display.
I’m very surprised Glenn Beck didn’t think this was funny because I would have bet he would really enjoy embarassing his children. Oh well, nobody’s perfect.
Because Perdogg watches TV!
That is the best explanation I’ve heard thus far.
His daughters are so pretty I’d expect him to be meeting their dates at the door with a shotgun.
I would. And no dates until they were 25.
When my two daughters were teenagers...they enjoyed weekly family nights out with mom and dad...usually a movie and dinner..or maybe bowling..but we had to drive at least 50 miles away from home..heaven forbid that some of their friends would see them out with their parents..
“I thought the entire exchange was really rather cute! : )

Agreed! And he’s better to look at than fat Teddy!

Only 25? Wow you’re more lenient than the other dads . . .
I thought I missed something when Glenn made those comments. And I assumed the “available” comment by Brown was one of those ‘inside’ jokes.
I’m from RI, live in CT and spend a LOT of time in Massachusetts. Brown is the take-no-crap, says-what-he-thinks kind of New England guy and there are plenty of them around here like that.
And yes-sometimes they say something that may seem a little too down to earth, but he was among friends and family and New England is a small area; so you ALWAYS feel like you know everybody.
He was just being himself and I am SURE he’s been asked about his girls over and over. And that’s what I LIKE about the guy-he’s not a phony!
Glenn always says to say what you mean and mean what you say...hello? That doesn’t mean everything you say will be perfect.
But Glenn wanted to turn it into something sordid; he needs to get out of Western CT & NYC more; maybe take a trip to Federal Hill in RI or eat at Luciano’s in Wrentham- and get to know some down to earth NE guys.
Glenn hasn’t been the same since his interview with Sarah, and he wasn’t too nice about her afterwards either.
I don’t know what’s up with him lately either, but I look forward to Rush everyday and have turned Glenn off. He almost seems mean, and it doesn’t become him.
Maybe it’s the DayQuil...
I hate to break it to you- but not only did Beck not apologize, but he took time at the start of his show at 5 yesterday to repeat these thoughts.
He should know better. Sadly he doesn’t.
