In a cringe-worthy, “Ohmigod, DAD!” moment, U.S. Sen.-elect Brown channeled Chuck Woolery during Tuesday night’s acceptance speech.
“I want to thank Ayla and Arianna for their help as well,” Brown said. “And just in case anyone who’s watching throughout the country, yes, they’re both available!”

yes, Brown’s actions were FAR WORSE than receiving a BJ in the oral office, lying under oath, etc. or drowing a woman and doing all the terrible things that followed all to save his senate office.

I actually thought it was pretty harmless. They’re cute girls, and this was a basic “Dad joke.” I don’t know why people are flipping out over it.

It was a joke. Beats the “For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud to be be an American” routine.
I don’t remember the mild joke that Laura Bush made - but it inspired my tagline (which I am reinstating).

He simply wants to get them married off so he doesn’t have to worry about them while in office. No more than any dad wants for his daughters. Get them married so they’ll settle down.

It was pretty funny. He quickly pulled back on one daughter who apparently was a runner-up on American idol and is either engaged or otherwise occupied by some reporter from ABC. The tall one (still available) is apparently a college basketball star. I suggest short guys need not apply (Probably need to be 6’4” or above.
What’s the fun of being the father of teen-aged girls if you can’t embarrass them in public?
My daughter pretends to hate when I do that, but she knows its all in fun.
