Two posts of mine, on another thread:
A caller to WRKO, Boston's AM talk radio station, called in to say that 60 people were waiting in line for the polls to open in Wakefield.
There's the first evidence of the enthusiasm here on Election Day.
And....
Another caller just phoned in from North Andover to report that she's been waiting 20 minutes just to park her car so she can go inside to vote.

Some twitter comments from voters:
RTPolls in MA opened at 7:00. Lines are already forming at locations in Boston 'burbs.
The polls in my town (Maynard, MA) are the busiest I've ever seen

Polls opened at 7 AM.
Turnout very high.
Snowing, light.
DNC sporadically already beyond the barriers erected
to stop electioneering.

Just voted. Small town, about 25.000. Light snow, secondary roads thinly coated. Traffice backed up at local school where polls are located.
Three Brown sign holders, no Coakley signs yet. There were a few ugly and bitter looking people, so I presume there are a few Socialists voting, but generally, people were friendly and smiling. The cops were all smiling, FWIW. (Indoor detail!?? Hahaha.)
I suppose later on the crack smokers will show up, after their childrens' fisting lessons.

Fox&Friends showed one graphic of a poll this morning that showed Brown 9 points ahead of Coakley.

Can we rename the thread?
It should be:

I just hope all the positive polls don't lead Brown supporters to get over confident and ... blow it.

I’m in NH, but my son who lives in MA just posted on FB that he has already voted for Scott Brown. That’s one vote! :-) Many more to come from the rest of the voters!

Reminders: Most folks vote AFTER they get out of work. Until end of day, polling doesn’t mean squat. AND many people lie to pollsters when leaving the poll, so take those numbers with a grain of salt. And most reporters up there are DNC approved....
