Agreed, but from what I know of his record as Mayor of NYC, he was a capable chief executive, as well, and got things done for the people of that city.

O yeah....Giuliani changed NYC dramatically before being elected Mayor as a fed prosecutor busting the Mafia. He continued the crackdown as Mayor and made NYC habitable after years of negligence by his predecessors.

But Rudy is NYC and while he has a lot in common with most, he isn't in touch with the common people across the country.

He was at his best as a hard nosed prosecutor and administrator in NYC but he doesn't do well in little towns west of the Hudson.
