It sure is looking like Scott Brown will win this one. It is starting to look like a landslide. Way too big to win by cheating....this should shock the dem pols and could create such fear...the imposters agenda is toast.

Don’t know much about him but from what I hear, he sounds like an across the board straight up conservative.

It is! But this is Massholechusetts, home of the Moonbat. I would be on guard until he is sworn into the US Senate.

A Republican winning the “Kennedy Seat” and stopping ObamaCare? Sweet, sweet justice!!!!!!

now if we can just hold the Missouri seat, we’ll be in much better shape in 2011...

Missouri is the only open seat that I’m worried about (Talent vs Carnahan)

I remember the polls with Christi in NJ....he won huge...but the polls never ever showed that one. So I have to conclude the polls are always skewed especially when a republican is way ahead.

I live in MO. Carnahans don’t lose elections here and the Blunt name is tarnished. Bad move by the state Republicans for putting him up. We have some great GOP talent at many levels, but the the party does a terrible job of developing them into statewide candidates. It’s a shame a relatively conservative state like MO is going to probably be represented by dunces like McCaskill and Robin Carnahan. All that being said, I’ll certainly do my part to get Blunt elected—he’s the nominee, so might as well get behind him. It will be close, but I think the Carnahan name will carry the day—disgusting, I know.

I’ve heard that he would make a good candidate to challenge Kent Conrad too in 2012.

Isn't little tommy daschle from that area? If so, the RATS have been hoodwinking the locals successfully for decades. They must all go get huntin' licenses and pay somebody to kill a critter so they can bag their photo op to put the election away.

Daschle is South Dakota's mistake, not ours.

Is this guy a fiscal and social conservative or a RINO?

He's no conservative, yet not quite a RINO either. I'll take him over the far-left lapdogs we've had for 25 years.

Two things to keep in mind the Socialists will use to corrupt the voting process.

1. What the Dems know that we don't: Universal Voter Registration

2. Soros Eyes Secretaries

"the the party does a terrible job of developing them into statewide candidates. "

This is where the Tea Party/912ers can make a difference, with support for good people and pressure on local GOP leaders to pick good people.

The way to beat Robin Carnahan is to keep hitting the fact that she is a pro-abort for any reason, any time, any place.I believe most Missourians are pro-life and this pro-abortion fact about Robin Carnahan will influence them to vote for pro-life Blunt. Blunt has made his mistakes but he has a good name among conservatives in SW MO.

Exactly...Blunt has a good name among conservatives in SW Missouri, but he is going to be a much tougher sell statewide. I don’t think the abortion issue is going to make that big of a difference, at least among moderates who are more likely to go by name recognition and have seen the Carnahan name on a ballot for almost 20 years.

Kenny Hulshof had the same problem...no one outside of the 9th district (where I live) had really heard of him, and he ran a crappy campaign for governor—hence he got steamrolled by Jay Nixon.

The only thing Blunt really has going for him is the national distaste with Democrats right now. 2010 is going to be a good time to run as a Republican, and he can use that too his advantage. Blunt is going to have to rack up huge numbers in rural MO to outdistance the welfare palaces of KC ans StL...not to mention the vote fraud. Impossible? Of course not. Right now I would probably handicap it at a 2-4 point lead for Carnahan, in any other year (where Democrats aren’t as hated) I would say Carnahan would win going away...probably by 5-7 points, but it will be close this time around.
