There must be parts of Houston that are peaceful.

This one brought a fire extinguisher to the gun fight.

“it is not wise to trust one’s life to the hope that a violent burglar will flee upon hearing an alarm. “
But the Brinks commercials always show it that way.

(I could eat it raw, but why do that when I have a fire.)

Sounds like the homeowner’s weapon was loaded with birdshot. Double-ought buck or rifled slugs people! No sense having the best home defense weapon available with ammo that won’t get the job done.

The Brinks commercials also portray all burglars as lone white guys, too.

That is a great looking shotgun rack. I have a bed that stands high off the floor and could use something like that. Where did you find it?
To: CholeraJoe
doesn’t specify how much shot hit the perp, and how much hit the house either ;-)

I like your tagline ... ((My baloney has a first name, it’s B-A-R-A-K. My baloney has a second name, it’s O-B-A-M-A).
Now make a slight change and sing it to the same tune ..

Those commercials irritate the hell out of me, especially the one where the “man of the house” runs back into the bedroom and shuts the door. That’s his whole plan for protecting his family? The burglar just busted through an exterior door; how long is it going to take him to get through an interior door? The one with the woman and little girl in the back yard isn’t any better. Who really sets their alarm every time they walk into the house?

My alarm system has a 1 minute delay that allows you to disarm it. I could never figure why the ads on TV had the response time being instantaneous.
Either way by the time the guy wakes up at the alarm companies office gets on the line with you and then calls the cops the guys has cleaned out half your house and is working on sloppy seconds on the women folk.

But the Brinks commercials always show it that way. They also show all the invaders to be white guys. Apparently only white guys run when they hear the alarm.

I really like this a lot! But I’m going to have to switch sides on the bed to make it work.
I’m thinking I could make one of these.
