The Brinks commercials also portray all burglars as lone white guys, too.
Those commercials irritate the hell out of me, especially the one where the “man of the house” runs back into the bedroom and shuts the door. That’s his whole plan for protecting his family? The burglar just busted through an exterior door; how long is it going to take him to get through an interior door? The one with the woman and little girl in the back yard isn’t any better. Who really sets their alarm every time they walk into the house?
I think one of my daughters brought that loser A.J. home for dinner once.
They also show all the invaders to be white guys. Apparently only white guys run when they hear the alarm.
Those commercials crack me up—they are so unreal.
Like, couldn’t they even show an Asian or a Pacific-Islander as the bad guy once in awhile?
