I think Lieberman has a good idea about taking visas away from the State Department. For years we have been reading about the leftists and Arabists ensconced in that department.
I think visas should be issued by the military.

Obie's last week could be a “teachable moment” for those who would be willing to learn. I firmly believe he is closing in on a nervous breakdown. Very, very detached involved in mindless activities to keep himself from having to face reality and hiding behind his children to avoid the press. Using them as human shields, if you will.

We are living in an age of pop culture, and image marketing.
I had a talk with my nephew who is willing to share the views of his college senior contemporaries, (not necessarily his views), and it is disheartening.
Example: Sarah Palin is seen as a ditz, who will not be accepted as a pres. candidate. When I said that she was a serious policy person, and Tina Fey was the ditz, he agreed, but said that perception trumps reality.
Cheney=bad is a meme that the “news” media will never give up.

Fox News Sunday Sens. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., and John Cornyn, R-
Senator on Bush releasing Gitmo prisoners, paraphrased ‘releasing them to Saudi Arabia was a mistake’, then goes on to talk about Al Qa-dah and their allies

Wow this clown is only 20 miles from me. Actually Weston is a pretty large totally plastic/yuppie place near the Palm Bch./Broward county border off the sawgrass exway where only the elite meet to eat.

Some of those virii and trojans have been sneaking in via Google [and other legit sites]. Some how hackers managed to plant them on google search results.
I ran across a few while searching current news items. My browser/virus program popped up warnings about some sites.
It is bad when you can’t even trust a website like Google.
[Google got allot of flack and didn’t show much concern, initially. I think they have become more pro-active recently.]

He doesn’t like the incident being politicized.

That was the same knee-JERK reaction that the DNC had after Sep 11, 2001. Remember the photo of President Bush staring out the window of Air Force One?
Terry McAuliffe immediately attacked that photo as a fundraising ploy of the Republicans. Ergo: photo never seen again in public!

Can't help but think that if ABEL DANGER was still in operation, what with all the open source info on the pantybomber, we might have nailed this guy early

Cynthia Tucker criticizes the admin for failure to act on Umar’s father’s formal complaint.
She makes up for it by claiming the admin’s ‘civilian’ arrest of Umar was justified, because the Bush admin arrested the shoebomber Reid as a ‘civilian’.

Juan Williams thinks retreating from our embassy in Yemen is just fine. Right out of Omama’s playbook — never pass an opportunity to surrender.

I agree. His job is way above his capabilities and the rational part of his brain is recognizing the fact, and it is eating him up.

The military has their own PC problems. Ft. Hood, for example.

According to Brit Hume and Bill Kristol on FNS: This was a very good week for Al Queda.
Tough to argue with.
