Abstract
For more than a year, Sarah Palin has been a national Rorschach test. The views expressed about her reveal the distinctions and conflicting perceptions of often antagonistic groups of Americans—the religious and the secular, the conservative and the liberal, the urban and the small town, the elitist and the populist.
And now, with the publication of her autobiography, Going Rogue, and Matthew Continetti’s The Persecution of Sarah Palin, the Rorschach tests are being administered anew, and with increasing fervor.
For her conservative admirers, she continues to exemplify independence, moxie, common sense, the superiority of the common American over the nation’s elites, and the embodiment of modern womanhood and Christian faith.
For her detractors, both conservative and liberal, she is uncouth, unschooled, a hick, anti-science and anti-intellectual, an upstart, and a religious fanatic. There is no group so firmly in the latter camp as American Jews. And there is much to learn in their reaction to Palin, both about her and about the sociological makeup of American Jewry today. While Palin enjoys support from some prominent Jewish conservatives, it is not an exaggeration to say that, more so than any other major political figure in recent memory (with the possible exception of Patrick J. Buchanan), she rubs Jews the wrong way . . .
Ask an average American Jew about Palin and you are likely to get a nonverbal response—a shiver, a shudder, a roll of the eyes, or a guffaw. Naomi Wolf, the feminist writer, sputtered that Palin was the “FrankenBarbie of the Rove-Cheney cabal,” articulating the mixture of contempt and fear that seemed to grip many Jewish women.
The disdain is palpable and largely emotional. While 78 percent of American Jews voted for the Obama-Biden ticket, it is fair to say that most did not harbor animosity toward or contempt for Senator John McCain; the same cannot be said of their view of Palin . . .
Here is my take on why Jews “hate” Palin.
Part of it is that they hate any GOP candidate-SOP. Next it is because she is a woman. Third it is that they cannot culturally identify with her. Fourth is the abortion issue. And number 5 is a conservative and most Jews in America are liberals.

That’s ok if they hate her. Many Jews must hate me, too. I voted for Palin AND I voted for Reagan...twice!

The National “Jewish” “Democratic” Council posts anti-Christian hate material that is every bit as vile as anti-Semitic material I have seen at, for example, MyBarackObama.com and MoveOn.org. If one looked only at NJDC, one would assume that Jews don’t like Christians. Then again, if one looked only at the KKK, they would assume that white people dislike Negroes and, if they looked only at Obama’s church, they would assume that all Negroes hate white people.
NJDC should not, however, be taken as any more representative of Jews than the KKK is representative of white people, or Obama’s church is representative of Black people. NJDC also whitewashed the anti-Semitic material from MoveOn.org, sort of like the kapos (concentration camp trustees) who told Jews that the cattle cars were going to take them to nice country recreation camps.

I am Jewish, and I took down the anti-Second Amendment Million Mom March in 2000. I actually destroyed the organization, perhaps crippling its get-out-the-vote activities in Florida sufficiently to leave Gore short a few hundred.
What happened was that I saw the MMM using tax exempt money to promote House candidates on its Apple Pie Award page, and I gave this information to pro-2nd columnist J.R. Labbe. She published a column (with national circulation) that pointed out that the Million Moms could be breaking the law even while they talked about firearm “responsibility.” It crumpled the MMM up visibly—the political equivalent of shock battle at its finest—and the MMM had to liquidate the next year.
I also crippled MoveOn.org (the scandal over the anti-Semitic and anti-Catholic hate speech at its now-disgraced Action Forum) and would probably have destroyed it had the National “Jewish” “Democratic” Council and ADL not used their Jewish identities to whitewash MoveOn.org. ADL was a good organization before Abe Foxman took over, and it will probably be a good organization when he leaves, but I cannot support it now. Foxman came one step short of Holocaust denial when he downplayed the Turkish genocide of the Armenians. I say “one step short” because he didn’t actually deny that it happened.
In any event, I am one of the major reasons why MoveOn.org no longer has an Action Forum. Now, anybody else here want to tell me how “Jews” are all leftist Obots who hate Palin?

She was number two on our ticket. No determination was required.
Just because we like her and have focused on her due to our focus on politics in general and Conservatism in particular, that doesn’t mean a majority of the public or Jews have.

Sarah Palin has more in common with book burning Nazi’s then with The Holy One of Israel.
No one is comparing her to the Holy One but your comparison of her to Nazi's is just sick. Especially since she is more of a friend to Israel than your friend Obama.
