I heard on a middle of the night newscast that the chief of this CIA group at the forward operating base was a woman. Was she REALLY the best man - excuse me “person” - for the job? Or was she a diversity appointment? Somehow, I do not see how a woman can stay incognito in that land.
How far forward in A’stan did BHO friend Jodie Foster get when she was in that country a few months ago?

See the problem? Who decides whose interpretation of a book as vast as the Bible is correct? The history of the actual “creation” of the Bible, as Bart Ehrman has documented, is one of selection of books according to various theological and political positions. The current Bible wasn’t finalized until the Council of Trent, in 1546. Even Christian churches today recognize different books in what they call the Bible. The Deuterocanonical books are considered canonical by Catholics, Eastern Orthodox and Oriental Orthodox, but are considered non-canonical by Protestants.
So how you interpret what the Bible means starts with which Bible you recognize - which is a result of which Church you worship in.
Yet all these Churches fall under the aegis of “Judeo-Christian.”

Communist philosophy, as in communal sharing and classless societies, have been attempted since before the time of Christ, and certainly was espoused in its stateless form by the Apostles.
Christianity, of course, cannot be used to justify Marxist-Leninism, and was actually considered to be antithetical to Marxist-Leninism, which saw all religion as a competing ethos to be eradicated.

The Branch Davidians were a PEACEABLE people who believed in their right to self defense. They were a threat to NO ONE and do NOT deserve to be included in a list of cults which include the Islamists and the Jim Jonesers. They had planned their murderous attack well in advance and the only surprise was the armed resistance, yet MOST of the casualties on the BATFag side were self-inflicted. There are elements of historic Islam, and especially in their emphasis on learning, that could be said to be ‘admirable.’ But even then, only if they were ‘in charge.’ When they’re not in charge, they are warriors, street fighters and they have been terrible to women over the years. Now women have had it tough in this world often. Many so called Christian nations have not particularly cherished women, as God has commanded.
imho, while there are religious and disciplined elements to islam, it is not as much a spiritual pursuit of God, as it is a political and social system, kept in place by tradition and fear. And at this time, that is not enough to overcome the radicals - who *do* have a kind of religious fervor (spiritual, but Satanic, imho), unlike the rank and file, who are just sort of getting by in day to day survival, or in the gulf states, perhaps just protecting the status quo and their own wealth (although throughout the islamic world, there is a GREAT degree of poverty, which exacerbates the whole scenario of terror recruiting - certainly that’s the case with Palestinians.) That said, many rich, snotty muslims become terrorists, like Nigerian Omar Abdulmutallab (flight 253 heading to Detroit)...
