Barack Obama enjoys living like a king, so why shouldn't Michelle Obama live like a queen?
The First Lady was photographed last night in Hawaii wearing $635 per pair designer shoes by Maison Martin Margiela.
The shoe style is called "Leather open toe flat pumps." It features a "thin nude leather strap across the top of the toe."
A woman lucky enough to have a job in this economy and working for the federal minimum wage of $7.25 per hour would have to work 88 hours (without taxes taken out) to make enough to pay for Michelle Obama's shoes. If she can get them on sale, they would only set her back $445 for 62 hours work.
The Obamas are staying at an $8.9 million estate for an estimated $4000 per night. To cover the Obama's ten night stay, the minimum wage worker would have to work two-and-a-half years (before taxes) to come up with the $40,000 Obama is reportedly laying out.
Obama has lectured Americans about how they can not expect to live their lives as indulgently as they have in the past. He has lectured businesses about their travel and pay. Yet Obama and his wife live like kings and queens.
The news media has yet to call him out on his extravagance when there is 10% unemployment with no sign of the employment picture improving this coming year.

Besides being an ugly shoe (in my estimation), it appears that the shoe is too small for mo’s foot.
lol. . .of course, there was less bang for the buck on these shoes as they do not even have 'tops'. . .look like an 'upscale' copy of a Kenyan walking shoe. And herein, may be the appeal.
Of course tax was not included in quote; so price closer to seven hundred dollars for those leather soles.

The “reel” - starting at about minute 2:30 of the Scottish Dance video is similar to the “basic level” of America Square dancing.
Typical square dance caller routine will have a pattern call of switching and exchanging partners more rapidly and vigorously than this dance - but using almost all of the same swings-your-partner, dos-si-dos, alemand-left, alamand-right, etc, etc that these are using. For basic square dancing I'd estimate there are thirty some-odd individual moves, but any (or all) of them are inserted at different times by the callers. Here, the whole routine is more stylized and fixed - but, of course, there is no caller either.
A good square dance caller will break all of the partners up, exchange and swap them - sometimes even with other squares across the room - then at the end of the dance, be able to get everybody back in their own square with their own partner.
(So of course, if you start off in the lead square at a square dance convention with your partners already swapped and switched, ....)
Advanced I and advanced II square dancers use even more moves and calls.
After the square dance pattern call, the caller will change to a dance pattern with a simpler routine of exchanging each partner with the one on your right, going through 4 repetitions of equal steps to get back at the end “go home with the one that brung ya”

She has got to be either bipolar or schizophrenic (sorry if that’s misspelled). How does the woman go from A, which I think is kind of nice, to B, which is so heart-stopping ugly? There has to be something going on in that woman’s brain. Maybe the psychiatrist was called out and that’s why Obama left the golf course. They had to make something up to hide the shrink!

I’m not a 0 apologist by any stretch of the imagination, but they can afford nice things. Are they setting a good example? Now that’s a different question...
