“If Republicans find a way to press their policy advantages now and in 2012...”

and avoid snatching defeat from the jaws of victory?

How many of those gains are for immigrants leqal and illegal who vote for the ‘crats. In a few years they will tip the tables in some of those Red states.

The Republican Party may get one more chance to control the government. They had better use it well.

I wish demographics were on our side

Due to immigration (legal and illegal) Texas will soon turn forever very blue.

Those 3 extra electoral votes will soon belong to the rats. As well as the ones from Arizona, Nevada and Florida.

The Republicans are the Cleveland Browns of politics.

Democrats bet that when the economy picks up, so will immigration from Latin America, providing the kind of electoral base for the party in the Southwest that immigrants from Ireland and then southern Europe once provided in the Northeast.

Among the US populations of many generations, the Dims have seriously lost the political debates over the past thirty or forty years and they know it. They must continue to import poor immigrants with minimal education in large numbers to have any chance of winning Congress and the WH consistently. Their future is dependent upon continuing high levels of legal and illegal immigrants from poorer nations.

Republicans who support amnesty for illegals are either total, self-destructive morons, or guilt-ridden white people, or secret operatives for the Dims.

Good news, but then I see Mitch McConnell wringing his hands in anguish and wailing about what the Dems are doing instead of he and the other Repubs kicking ass and taking names. Without courage and fire in the belly by Repubs, the Dems will have a permanent veto-proof majority once the 20 million criminal aliens get amnesty and register to vote. After that, there will be no turning back from Obama’s malignant horror of a country.

Wait another generation or two, till true american patriots start imitating Mel Gibson (well, his good qualities, such as raising large numbers of offspring). There will be limitless global warming from the heat of all the leftist heads exploding.

Yeah, I think Mah-ty Mee-han is going to be losing his district, here in MA. It couldn’t happen to a more deserving fellow!

Best news I’ve had since seeing Sen. Max Baucus drunk as a skunk on the floor of Congress.

2010- The Democrats’ end!

Heh.

They have won 3 in a row now and made a good move in hiring Holmgren.

The GOP could use a leader.

I hope Texas and Georgia can assimilate huge numbers of yankees and mexicans. Here in NC, we haven’t done such a good job.

This mostly depends on not having an amnesty bill shoved down our throats like the rest of the crap we are being forced to eat.

Where are all these people coming from? North of the Mason-Dixon line and south of the Border. So is this population shift a plus for the GOP or a dilution of the Republicans in those states with Blue State Democrats and Hispanics? Look at Virginia and North Carolina and you may be looking at the future of the South.

The Republican Party is still a shambles’

Try again.
The Republican Party just smoked the Democrats in strongly Democratic New Jersey and in formerly 0bamabot country Virginia.
