When I worked at MSP and had FBI background checks constantly to do my job, I had full access to every area except international baggage, I could pass through the lines and swipe my card, however I STILL had to remove my shoes and run metals through the detector and if I had a boarding pass "ONE WAY" without luggage I ALWAYS received tough scrutiny and appropriately so!

I have seen warnings about the Nigerian airport in Lagos for almost 20 years. Flew there once in 1990. Coup occured while we were there. Locals did not seem too worried. Conference went on. But flying out of Lagos was spooky.

Fox reporting Nigerian followed same path as Christmas Day bomber—Lagos to Amsterdam to Detroit—and that he did not have any checked baggage.
On another thread, someone said that yesterday’s NW flight path approach came in over Monroe - home of a nuclear power plant. Just wondering if today’s flight 253 also took the same approach path. If so, the NPP could be the target.
