Attorney Philip J. Berg defends Obama birth certificate lawsuits
Editor's note: Philip J. Berg, former deputy attorney general of Pennsylvania and an activist attorney who brought a lawsuit challenging the eligibility of Barack Obama to become president of the United States, has written the following reply to Jamie Freeze's Dec. 22 RenewAmerica article "Facts are stubborn things: Obama is a natural-born citizen."
Jamie Freeze, a law student, has called any of us who question Soetoro/Obama's citizenship status and constitutional eligibility to serve as U.S. President --- a constitutional right of ours, of course --- incompetent idiots. Ms. Freeze, however, may want to continue her education. Part of being a lawyer, a very important part, is being able to comprehend what you read and to cite the correct law to collaborate it, something Ms. Freeze has clearly failed to do.
I will respond below to Ms. Freeze's allegations. My responses are in bold. I also want to make very clear to all readers that none of the eligibility cases have been heard, litigated, or dismissed based on the law pertaining to any of the issues raised. Instead, the eligibility cases have been dismissed on the basis of "STANDING" only.

I think we should not allow the leftist and the main fringe media label us as “ BIRTHERS “ ... so ? we shall name ourselves “ CONSTITUTIONAL ENFORCERES “
The same can be said about all the OBOTS and the main freak media.
Well, you got me there partner!
But what's in a name? There are lots of Christian Republicans slinging mud her way, right?
Personally, I don't know the young lady. I may not be totally impressed with her logic but "not standing her" without proper introduction at least isn't the way I was raised.
I do believe Mr. Berg pretty much destroyed her on "cross" but he certainly didn't attack her as viciously as some here on FR have!
The fact that Rush arrogantly refuses to talk about this has alienated me away from his program.
Do you honestly think that so much as one hundred dollars should be spent on a legal defense fund when 10 dollars will vindicate him?
Only a thief, fraud and liar would go to such extremes to prevent simple documentation from seeing the light of day.
An honest person would have presented his records because he has nothing to hide.
Now go on. Call us a bunch of "nuts" because we question the need to spend a fortune hiding behind lawyers rather than be honest and simple about the issue.
Do you honestly think that Ronald Reagan would have hidden behind an army of lawyers if someone asked him about his Constitutional validity?
The jerks and drones here from team Obama will always refer to us as "birthers" because they prefer to ridicule us rather than publicly acknowledge that it is wrong to hide behind an army of lawyers over such a damn simple issue.
Update to the WND article: per the Obama campaign October 15, 2009 FEC filing: Perkins Coie was paid an additional $313,884.06 for the July, August, September 2009 time period. That contrasts with the McCain committee having paid Wlmer, Cutler, Pickering firm $27,676.34 over the same period. This information is a matter of public record, readily available at the FEC site.
Now, wouldn’t it just be silly to assume that ‘most’ of the Obama campaign’s post-election legal fees are being paid to monitor and defend the eligibility suits vs. the normal business of closing down a campaign a year after it has ended?
Does ANYONE really believe that?
?
Well, TARP funds not 'illegal'. . .how the Dem's are using the funds may be. Of course, the transparency is more an 'opaque' when it comes to disclosing how this money is spent. We know millions of dollars are not accounted for; we know much of TARP has been banked by Dems to be used per their 'needs' and whims. . .This is as much an 'Obama's got cash' program as anything else it claims to be.
Would it occur to you that that is the reason all the records are sealed???
Who’s “Water” are you carrying???
Then add to this, ALL the media outlets including FOX, Premier and Clear Channel as well as the Judicial branch!!!
She will get an “A” from her law school, but she gets an “F” from me. I hope she goes on to enjoy a long — if not illustrious — career as a defense attorney. Lots of Bad Guys will be taken off the streets as a result of her brilliantly argued cases. With any luck, some will even end up on Death Row, thanks to her bullet-proof defenses.
