The turkey was WONDERFUL!!! I love the drumsticks and the meat just fell off of the bones.....yummy!! I ate one’s meat and saved the meat from the other for a turkey sandwich tomorrow. I am so full I could burst. I need a nap.
Prayers for a safe trip to and fro. Merry Christmas to Piper and her Mom and Dad.

I hahve no idea about what language are those greetings are, however.
I recognize the Latin,
Spanish,
French
and I’m thinking that the one in all caps is Greek.
Any ideas, AAM?

I hope you had a Blessed and very Merry Christmas Connie. We had quite a day yesterday. Our Old English Sheep dog got to go along and she was a blast at the inlaws. I saw this on the TX message board today.
My dog sleeps about 20 hours a day. She has her food prepared for her. She can eat whenever she wants, 24/7/365. Her meals are provided at no cost to her. She visits the Dr. once a year for her checkup, and again during the year if any medical needs arise. For this she pays nothing, and nothing is required of her.
She lives in a nice neighborhood in a house that is much larger than she needs, but she is not required to do any upkeep. If she makes a mess, someone else cleans it up. She has her choice of luxurious places to sleep. She receives these accommodations absolutely free. She is living like a queen, and has absolutely no expenses whatsoever.
All of her costs are picked up by others who go out and earn a living every day. I was thinking about all this, and suddenly it hit me like a brick in the head...
OH NO! My dog is a Democrat!
Merry Christmas!

Yep, the Jolly ol Elf managed to make it here despite the best efforts of the weather demons.
We probably had 5 to 6 inches of the white stuff but it was the high winds and drifting that caused most of the snow issues.

What a sobering thought!
At least my girls hunt, participate in trials, guard the house, fetch and carry generally (newspapers, laundry), and obey most commands (get off the sofa! is obeyed with reluctance, but it is obeyed).
