Hey President Obama, you give yourself a B+ for the year. We give you a F-. Have a nice Christmas.
Bump
The Holidays may give him a little repreve, but by Jan. 20, he'll be -25, with a 60% overall disapproval.
Just for the heck of it I decided to plot a very long term average for the Rasmussen Presidential Approval Index. We've been using a 10 day average to smooth out the bumps but this time I'm using a 60 day average for a longer term view of the trend.
It's an interesting plot. It shows very distinct periods of Obama's approval falling and fairly long periods of stability. I'll leave to the Freeper-Analysts to explain it. In any case, we are back on track with a fairly long term down trend that looks to me like it has legs.
Note that I've cut off the first 60 days of the index just to keep the spreadsheet simple.
Here it is:
...
Just wait until after the New Year and the sheeple get back from the holidays. Those numbers will drop, drop, drop. Not that anything will change what’s happening in DC, but there is some satisfaction that there is some buyers’ remorse.
Smurf lips has been busy with all the “Holiday” parties and then he’s off to Hawaii in two days for some much needed rest. It’s hard work screwing up your country in eleven months.
For the longest time Obama’s strongly disapprove numbers hung around 10%. The new baseline seems to be at around 15%. 20% strongly disapprove can’t be too far off with a 40% overall approval number.
Wait to see those numbers after the payrolls shrink from Death Care, on January 2010.
That’s what I’m talkin’ about.
I’m still sticking with my earlier speculations. 23% is the SA floor until the 2010 campaign season.
The SD will move dramatically upward after the holidays when the sheeple will realize what a miserable XPmas they had.
The "into the abyss" measurement tracks overall approval versus strong disapproval.

When doe she go lower than GWB?................
-20 by SOTU address, at least.
This might matter if we actually lived in a Constitutional Republic with open and honest elections and a legitimate rule of law.
Unfortunately polls and popular opinion don’t matter in a totalitarian plutocracy, which is what we’re actually subjects of now.
I would love to see massive tea party protests at all memebers of congress offices during this christmas break.
Now that we know mandated Health insurance and government take over are going to happen its time that we let our representatives know in person how that makes us feel.
BAD NEWS FOR BARACK
Tune: "Limbo Rock" Original MIDI
Every lib'ral boy and girl
All the folks in Limbaugh World
Both sides bashing on Barack
All find something they can mock
Track his numbers, track his polls
Track the unemployment rolls
All the pollsters on the block
Say it's bad news for Barack
He'll go lower now
He'll go lower now
How low can he go
First he spread the wealth around
Then he bowed down to the ground
Spend a trillion, make it three
Spend it like it grows on trees
Track his numbers, track his polls
Track the unemployment rolls
All the pollsters on the block
Say it's bad news for Barack
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Though he started out on top
Every time the numbers drop
There's a ratings trend that shows
He will fall to record lows
Track his numbers, track his polls
Track the unemployment rolls
All the pollsters on the block
Say it's bad news for Barack
Don't move that phone book far
He needs a polling czar
How low can he go
Zero and his dimwit congress (with a small c) ... both stink ... a stench beyond compare. They makes a 10,000 pig pig farm smell like a bouquet of flowers. Well, actually, they are a really big pig farm, aren’t they?
