“To assault an accredited representative of a conference your nation is hosting, and to do it while your own police cameramen are filming from above, and to do it without any provocation except my polite, non-threatening request that I should not be manhandled, is not a career-enhancing move, as that police chief is about to discover to his cost.”
GOOD.
Someone broke into Ort Knox and stole the paragraph breaks!
Marxism is not dead !
He changed clothes
Same old, fascist Nazi crap!
So why were they not gathering video of their own, if this is a repeat performance? Rather foolish or irresponsible.
oh no
Ping for LucyT
Again?!!
Tyranny is far older than that. It changes it’s name, is exposed and changes again. Tyranny cannot die, but tyrants can.
Denmark has never been on my list of places to visit. My wife says the only good things to come out of Denmark were modern furniture and Danish pastries. I might add Caroline Wozniacki....

Paragraphs are our friends...
I have to disagree. I've got wonderful memories of the Danish people, with one caveat. I don't visit the cities, I visit the countryside. This has been true with the Koreans, Saudis, Kuwaitis, Iraqis, Germans, etc. The rural people are the heart of any country. They'll say what they mean and mean what they say.

Throughout my life I’ve never looked at our Government, and had questions such as I have today. Our Government always seemed to reflect America.
I look at the current Executive Branch of our Government, and I look at the current Legislative Branch of our Government, and I wonder where it is I can find America.
It doesn’t seem to be represented by this Government.
We have our work cut out.
Lord Monckton was on Alex Jones on December 17th and explained how when confronted he put his hands in his pocket and when turned around got pushed in a way that made him fall. The story begins about the 2 minute mark in the second of four segments. Link= http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fi1lSVfD3Co
In the first segment Alex Jones praises “Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura” that aired its global warming show, which is one of seven made, on Wednesday night on TruTV. These are four segments that record that show at YouTube:

As many here know Lord Monckton’s works appear at http://scienceandpublicpolicy.org/
The three most recent postings listed there on the left side include”
“FORA.tv Exclusive Interview with Lord Monckton @ COP15”

The second entry is “Climategate Analysis” dated Friday, December 18th by John P. Costella=
http://scienceandpublicpolicy.org/reprint/climategate_analysis.html
The first page has the pdf document for the leaked emails= http://scienceandpublicpolicy.org/images/stories/papers/reprint/climategate_analysis.pdf
It goes through many pages listing little pieces from bigger text and prominent voices. The PDF files can be accessed above the entry and they would be a very exhaustive source of information including yet more material by Lord Monckton here. I will be working through that for days.
The third most recent posting is “Climategate: The Lawyers Move In - Those Scientists are Toast!”= http://scienceandpublicpolicy.org/commentaries_essays/lawyers_move_in_on_climategate.html The lawyers have come into the picture which assures us that the Climate Change Criminal Conspiracy cannot win by media and paid liars alone.

I am a big fan of Alexander Cockburn because of his panache in writing. He took up the subject of Copenhagen this weekend at http://counterpunch.org/cockburn12182009.html in a piece titled “Turning Tricks, Cashing In on Fear.” The following are two paragraphs from that link:
[b]Scientific research is indeed saturated with exactly this sort of chicanery. But the CRU emails graphically undermine the claim of the Warmers always absurd to those who have studied the debate in any detail that they commanded the moral high ground. It has been a standard ploy of the Warmers to revile the skeptics as intellectual whores of the energy industry, swaddled in munificent grants and with large personal stakes in discrediting AGW. Actually, the precise opposite is true. Billions in funding and research grants sluice into the big climate modeling enterprises. Theres now a vast archipelago of research departments and institutes of climate change across academia, with a huge vested interest in defending the AGW model. Its where the money is. Scepticism, particularly for a young climatologist or atmospheric physicist, can be a career breaker.
By the same token magazines and newspapers, reeling amidst the deadly challenge of the internet to their circulation and advertising base have seen proselytizing for the menace of man-made global warming, as a circulation enhancer a vital ingredient in alluring a younger audience. Hence the abandoned advocacy of AGW by Scientific American, the New Scientist, Nature, Science, not to mention the New York Times (whose lead reporter on this topic has been Andrew Revkin, who has a personal literary investment in the AGW thesis, as a glance at his publications on Amazon will attest.)
