Rep. Capauno Tells Fellow Democrats: 'You're Screwed'
Yahoo ^ | December 15, 2009

When House Democrats gathered on Friday for their end-of-the week caucus meeting in the basement of the Capitol, caucus chairman John Larson (D-Conn.) told the group he wanted them to hear first from Rep. Michael Capuano, who'd just returned from a primary campaign for the Senate seat in Massachusetts vacated by the death of Ted Kennedy.

Larson asked Capuano, who finished in second place, to share the wisdom that he learned on the campaign trail.

Capuano took to the microphone, looked out at his colleagues and condensed what he'd learned into two words. "You're screwed," he told his friends in the House, according to one attendee. The room's silence was broken only by soft, nervous laughter.

RATs are screwed; they followed their Dictators Pelosi and Reid off the plank. May they all sink together.

The people are screaming for jobs, and the ‘admin’ only focuses on making health care even worse at higher costs?

Hell, yeah, somebody’s waking up to:

‘Sorry, Joe Six-pack, your pocketbook issues are now back-burner to our Global weather scams and f*cking up a health-care system that is envied world-over.’

Yes, Rats, you couldn’t help but screw yourself the first chance you got.

=....Republicans will clean up if they play their cards right.=

Let's hope we don't have a repeat of my tagline.

Read the story, it boils down to “The government has the answers, but we aren’t doing enough quickly enough”.
I guess they got the answers but they dont know how to fill in the blank!

He asked one crowd if it thought that a town could start hiring people within a month if it was given a million dollars on the condition it begin employing people -- the crowd was certain it could.

After the event, a top finance official from the town approached him. "Not only could I do it in 30 days, I could do it in a week," she said.

Yes, she probably could, by immediately hiring back any city employees they got rid of, plus some, not by creating new jobs or by assisting new small businesses to start up in their city.

A net gain is a given barring a big pro rat swing rat funding edge or not.

20 at a minimum I’d guess.

My guess is there will be between 200 and 230 House Republicans elected.

There’s not much good news east of the Hudson. Every seat conservatives expect to pick up is based on speculation.

The eastern NH seat (Shea-Porter) is the only seat where things are “going well enough”.

MA-6, Tierney, north of Boston is interesting

Interesting that one was not on my radar screen. If Tierney has a viable challenger (self funder?) his fundraiser should be doing better. Maybe he’s thinking of retiring.
