Free Republic is a fringe right-wing Christian fundamentalist site... or so they say... and they might even be right.
We don't go for any of that godless left-wing big government socialist malarkey. And we do put our faith and trust in God, not government. We are pro-God, pro-Life, pro-Family, pro-Country and pro-Liberty.
We do not believe that government or science knows what's best for us or our children. We will make our own decisions thank you very much.
Every once in a while some group of posters get together and try to bend Free Republic to their will. Now, we tend to be pretty free-wheeling around here and will take a lot of guff and a lot of obnoxious insults from a lot of people, but eventually a breaking point is reached.
For example, when a group of RINO lovers recently banded together to try to force FR to accept an abortionist/gay rights RINO as our presidential candidate, they soon found themselves on the outs.
And a few years ago a group of evolutionists tried to force FR over to their way of thinking and they soon found themselves on the outs.
FR is a pro-God, pro-Creator, pro-Life, pro-Liberty site.
And now we have yet another group of Darwinists trying to have their Darwinist way with us. Well, as I've said before what doesn't kill us will only make us stronger.
Darwin Central has again declared war on FR. They have ping lists and email lists and will try to pull away as many FReepers as they possibly can. So be it. Those who would rather go with Darwin, please go. I sure as hell won't try to stop you.
FR will remain a pro-God, pro-Life, pro-Liberty, pro-Creator conservative site.
We wholeheartedly believe that our unalienable rights are a gift from God our Creator not from man or government. And no man, no government will ever deprive us of same.

I have no personal qualms against you but the war is active. To know God is very powerful and guides our Nation is very powerful as well. This thread was started by JimRob solidifying the reason it is here. To attack such knowledge is at your own devices.

Something lost in the translation, but the CONTEXT is that the circumcision became the covenenant by which those leaving Egypt were bound as a people. It was Zipporah who actually made the Covenant with G-d. But how to explain it? In the days when the Hebrew was translated by the Egyptians into Greek, the Greeks considered women chattel. How, then, could they accept that a WOMAN could make a Covenant with G-d, let alone a covenant that would CREATE a people from whole cloth encompassing many, many ethnicities, and which would span nearly 6,000 years?
Obviously, they did not WANT to explain it, any more than they wanted to explain that Abraham was NOT the apple of G-d’s eye, Sarah was.
The concordance in most modern NT Bibles simply states that Sarah was the mother of Isaac, not that she was the Mother of a Nation. If Abraham was the key, Hagar would have been the chosen one, and Ishmael would have been the inheritor since he was Abraham’s first born son.
Likewise, no credit is given to Rebecca to whom G-d spoke and from whom Israel was born. Rebecca is only seen in the Concordance as a deceitful woman.
You got to read the whole thing, (OT,) with your mind focused. Otherwise, you lose the truth.

No. It’s not. I have read the whole thing. Several times since I first read it in college.

I am too lazy to go back through all my posting history, but allow me to say there have been several Darwinists who have been so nasty and condescending to me when I just try to bring up what I see as reasonable arguments that I quit dialoguing with them.
Also, there are several who, although we disagree, have been perfectly civil.
Read any crevo thread and you’ll see it.

Darwinian evolution would teach that the robins and owls, some of them, would eventually become a whole new species entirely. Not just a bird of a different feather.
