My son's name is Benjamin, he has run a fever for 7 days, my wife just called, they did a chest x-ray, he has a touch of pnumeonia they said, they gave him amoxicillian. I have had a very bad feeling about this ever since he got sick, he is 8 years old and just the greatest little boy.
Please lift him up to the Lord, I am just worried terribly now.
Thank you

Prayers for Benjamin and all who love him.
I agree lay hands on him as I lay hand on my computer screen and pray.
God allmighty send down your healing hand to this child now Lord. I plead the Blood of Jesus for this child healing and give the parent peace and put arms around this whole family and confort them. Send your power now Lord to this child healing him from top of head to tip of his toes. And let them all know it came from you and through those taking care of him. I thank now Lord for answer to pray.
Amen
Benjamin is in my prayers. Keep faith.

Prayers up for the little guy.
Stay strong, FRiend. He will pull through.
May your son and family be blessed and healed.
Prayers for Benjamin and your whole family...May God grant him complete restoration.
Please update as you can.
Please keep us posted when you can.
Prayers up, but kids and fever are naturals together. It’s good he can mount a defense against infection! The temp makes the white blood cells work better, we think.
Praying for your little guy.
Anyone who has been through having a sick child knows how difficult it is. Especially Freepers who are and independent lot that are used to being in control.
I will never forget when I took my daughter to the emergency room (one year old) with a temperature of 106.
The Doc decided to start an IV and then work on getting her temperature down. The nurse, who was a very large and very black woman (the best nurse I have ever seen) took me aside and said, “You know you don’t have to let them start an IV”. Why don’t you let us try to get fluids into her and her temperature down first, just give us one hour.
I will never forget that 6’ 200lb black woman holding this tiny blue-eyed blonde in her arms and pinching the bottom of her foot until she cried out and as she cried out throwing a 1/2 ounce of water down her throat. After she got about 3 ounces into her she put her in a tepid bath, which felt ice cold to me. She started singing to her and my daughter stopped crying and just watched her with those big blue eyes.
Within an hour her temp was down to 103 and she was sleeping soundly.
That night I slept on a couch right outside her door, and heard the hospital staff talking. Who has that baby in room 404? They gave the Doc’s name and he said, if I were you I would call him, her white blood count is 39,000. I didn’t know what that meant but I knew that if they called the Doc in the middle of the night it must not be good.
That was the first time I realized that I was not in total control and needed help. Down on my knees I went, not caring who was around, and I started praying for heavenly father to take over and keep her safe because I couldn’t.
A warm feeling came over me and I knew she would be OK.
She had many health problems as a child and was in the hospital 10 times by the time she went to school. She now is grown with two children and no health problems.
To make a short story long,
Trust in the Lord, ask him for help and put your child into his care. Your six year old can sense your feelings and what he needs is for you to have a positive attitude.
I will also pray for both of you, the power of prayer is mighty.
Lord, please restore this child and give his parents strength.
Heavenly Father we join together in prayer and ask that you bring healing to Benjamin and comfort to his family. In Jesus name we pray.
We will be praying Scythian.(((((((((Hugs)))))))
Joining in with prayers up. That your son will recover to good health quickly. Prayers for both of you as well.
Certainly. I already have.
Prayers sent for your little guy. Hope he feels better soon.
Scythian I’m sorry to hear about Benjamin’s illness. Amoxicillin is an old stand-by anti-biotic. Give it 36 to 48 hours. If he doesn’t show marked improvement, get him back to the doctor.
I remember when my children were young. Once their temperature went over 100 degrees, my thoughts used to run like yours are now. Kids get sick. Parents freak out. That’s normal. If our thoughts didn’t run that way, we wouldn’t be caring like we should.
You folks will be in my thoughts and prayers.
All the best to you.

Remembering little Benjamin in prayer here today, and you too, that your worries may be eased.
