President Thanks Military Personnel and Families For Serving Our Country
THE PRESIDENT: Thank you all. (Applause.) Thank you for the warm welcome. It was getting a little quiet back at the White House. (Laughter.) So I decided to drop in on the Devil Dogs. (Applause.) Thank you for coming out to say hello. I've been looking forward to this for quite a while it's a pleasure to be with so many squared-away, gung-ho United States Marines. (Applause.)
I'm here to thank you for serving our country in a time when we need you. In a season where Americans stop to count their blessings, I want you to know one of America's greatest blessings is the men and women who wear our nation's uniform. (Applause.) And many of you are blessed by having a husband or wife, or a son and daughter who stand with you during this time of sacrifice. Our nation is blessed because of our military families. (Applause.) Your fellow citizens are proud of you, and so is your Commander-in-Chief. (Applause.)

What are the chances that the Obozo will spend his Christmas Eve talking to our military rather than out partying with MichelleMaBelle. I do miss Pres. Bush.
I too miss President Bush and First Lady Laura Bush. First class act. Thanks for keeping up the monthly post

That is nice Kaslin, seeing those pictures reminds me of how calm things were when GWB was CIC and President.
And I sort of miss the annual “A Barney Christmas” videos.
Thank you...:)
What a difference 11 months makes. I miss having a president who didn’t use the troops as a backdrop for his photo ops. Bush’s domestic agenda left much to be desired, especially in the second term, but you always got the feeling he cared about our military. Nov 2010 can’t get here soon enough. I think they’ll be a lot of surprised libs when they see how many seats they lose.
Sigh.....
Miss ya Dubya.
We can make it through this. Look what you had to put up with. I think we can survive and prevail.
Thanks Kaslin!
My wife saw the White House Christmas decorations during his second term and had the good fortune of seeing Laura Bush in person. What a great privilege it was.
Top notch war president, luke warm domestic president. The first bail out was his. A good soul occasionally misdirected. His moral compass pointed north unlike the southern bound Kenyan Muslim commie traitor.
Thank you!
Y’know, you put a Bush-Cheney sticker on your car in some parts, and you risk having your tires slashed by deranged idiots. If that isnt terrorism, I dont know what is.
Despite all the media reporting about portraying decent, american conservatives as so called “fringe” and “right-wing” elements, I dont think Ive ever heard of a car being defaced because it had an Obama sticker on it.
I wonder who the fringe and extremist elements really are, in our society?
Thank you for the pics
I was lucky enough to run into his folks at a place here in Houston.
The Bush family are all down to earth people
Thank you Kaslin!

You put a lot of work into your threads and I so appreciate it!
