It’s because he isn’t a Christian and distains all things Christian.

So is bammy Charlie Brown or Linus? I know he ain’t Snoopy. You could make an argument that Lady Chewbacca is Lucy though.

[Obama Address preempts Charlie Brown Christmas] I'm sure the brain-washed little kiddies will be delighted to see Obama instead. Mmm Mmm Mmm!!

To be honest, this is perhaps the first time I’ve agreed with Obama’s timing. (Hell he should have done this months ago and we all agree on that, so understand that up front.)
I am not a Charlie Brown fan. Frankly the whole concept gives me the hives. Just about anything that would keep him off the tube is fine with me.
For the Charlie Brown fans, sorry folks. Take your little blankey over in the corner and pout.

Well, Americans everywhere are cutting back, so I guess it’s only right that a network trade in a real cartoon for a stick boy.

A muted trombone would make more sense than an Obama speech.

OK I turn to K & say, "Look who's on at 7 tonight."
K look at me & says, "Why don't they give 'em his own network & be done with it?".
