Maybe you should go back and read what Dr. Keyes had to say before going over the cliff. I have probably disagreed with Dr. Keyes as much as anyone on here. That said, there is one thing about Dr. Keyes that stands out is the fact he NEVER wavers from what he believes, isn’t afraid to speak out and will stand up for his beliefs no matter what. More importantly then that, is that I will stand for the right of Dr. Keyes to state his opinion and for EV to post that opinion.
You can disagree with someone without getting nasty and calling names.
Once again Dr. Keyes has written an article that tells it like it is and once again a Palin supporter comes along and disses the author. Do you all realize that by attacking anyone that dares to say something about Palin that doesn’t meet your standards, that you are sounding like the opposition in the last election? We must not question anything. It is also starting to drive people to look at alternatives. Blind allegiance is not good because it means you quit thinking.
EV — If you are not in the Palin camp, guess you shouldn’t post on here. (sarcasm) Seriously, that is what it is beginning to look like, yet we are so far out from the 2012 election that a lot can change. There are more important things going on in DC but are getting drowned out. The 2010 election is coming up, yet so many people on here want to jump to 2012.

I agree with you, but what’s with Mr. Keyes and “Palin’s lead”?
She’s not even a candidate.
Sarah Palin, with her thoughtful speeches, her book and her courageous action of willingly giving birth to a Down Syndrome child, has inspired many pro-choicers reevaluate their position on the issue.
Keyes, with his angry rhetoric, only inspires them to harden their pro-abort position.

Excellent post PK-Mom, allow me to ping back some of those ‘attack the messenger but not the message’ type Freepers that might benefit from reading it.
again,,
I say..
You are just a pathetic Palin hating bonehead.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend. - Sun Tzu
I take it you're not a fan of Mrs. Palin.

Amen. I think Sarah Palin is great, and hope she continues to do the good things she does. However, she isn’t perfect, as NONE of the potential GOP candidates are. I have seen a scary trend here on FR....Folks have gone from just supporting Sarah to worshipping her. Sounds a great deal like the folks on the left that worship Barack Obama.
Sarah deserves your respect and support...not your worship. Also, she is NOT the only individual with desireable qualities to be the GOP candidate....although IMO she is definitely in the top two that I know of. Of course, before 2008, I knew zip about her.
“It is also starting to drive people to look at alternatives.”
Nothing is driving anyone from Palin. Currently the momentum is overwhelmingly in her favor.
In many ways Keyes is one of the brightest public figures in our country. But in this case it could be that his brilliant focus has given way to tunnel vision.
At heart, Palin is clearly pro-life. I think Keyes is distracted by his constitutional expertise. It could very well be that this expertise could be a very useful source of advice to Palin.
Should read: "Once again Dr. Keyes has written an article that tells it like it is stated an OPINION I AGREE with... which gives me piling on room...
Hey, we know you don't like Sarah Palin, and want to support Keyes.
He lost! Get over yourselves and go play in his sandbox!
Keyes can run his mouth, and you can have your opinions, too, but your PDS is getting stale! Alinsky would be proud!
Well said...
