Free Republic does not and will not support RINOS!! Not now!! Not ever!!
My day after Thanksgiving message | 11/26/200 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 11/26/2009 9:55:25 PM PST by Jim Robinson

Apparently there are still some posters on FR who are fast asleep. Wake up! Dammit! We are in the middle of a conservative rebellion! While you were sleeping we, along with millions of other freedom loving grassroots Americans have participated in hundreds of tea parties all across this great land and fully intend to keep it up until all of America is awake. We are fed up and mad as hell! We grassroots Americans are delivering a message to the ruling class: NO MORE!!

No more big government! No more high taxes! No more government bailouts! No more government takeovers! No government healthcare! No more corruption! No more global baloneyism!!

We're sick and tired of liberals and RINOs running roughshod over our God given Liberty!

We want our country back! We want our freedom back! We want it all back!!

No more socialism!!

Cut the taxes! Cut the spending! Cut the government!

Restore the constitutional limits on government! Restore our freedom!!

And not only no, but HELL NO to liberals and RINOS!!

Free Republic will not support RINOS!! Rudy McRomney, et al, can go straight to hell!!

The strategy is we win, they lose.

Any questions?

I expect to see a full court press. Mitt Romney Inc. and LDS LLC have inter-tangled agendas it seems.

And I say that as one is is very leery of buying into such things. However I do know when it's raining.

I asked you which of these you'd give up to secure victory.
Matter of fact, I already asked that question in post #746.
You ignored it, because it would be quite telling, wouldn't it.

The answer would be telling, considering.

I don’t think Jim would tell us that but not everyone on this site is Jim.

I, for one could not see myself pulling the lever for a McCain again. It ain’t easy voting straight-up principle, but what has compromise given us since Reagan? I remember when Bush was up for the office and Rush was making it clear he was a good man, but that neither he nor his dad were true conservatives. As much as I admire the man, I’m not sure he did a service to conservatism at all. By the time McCain was up for grabs there wasn’t enough real conservative base left to carry us.

Honestly, I don’t give a flip if it gets me kicked off freerepublic.com or anywhere else for that matter; I will actively campaign against anyone who is not a true conservative.

Waiting on a good conservative with the ability to swing and follow through? Right there with you.

God bless. GG

Trolls fail to correctly apply principles that conservatives understand.Such as the concept of private property.
Which is why the ‘totalitarianism’ canard tossed at FR is such a laugh.

Sure they can.... I’m betting they are not paid minimum way, but more like 25 to 45 dollars an hour.

There were a pretty good number of long term FR members who were LDS that were pushing Mitt. To their credit there were more than a few who had little for him as well.

They combined with LDS and Non LDS paid bloggers as well as some non LDS groupies made it real interesting here.

The LDS post did stand out though do to the nature and language used.

Conservative certainly believe in free association and that has to go for trade unions as well.

What part of free are you speaking about? In my world, it is a MERITOCRACY. Excellence begets superior results. Superior results beget profits, and it usually reaps a reward. Unions are socialist, not free association. You need to get a better conservative dictionary.

"Workers of the world, unite". Sound familiar?

“Victory over morons.”

Then concede your defeat at once. You are outwitted, outgunned, out argued, and the bell has rung.
Ding!

Right there with you! I’d gladly trade my State’s Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell for a Zell Miller, or even go back to Scoop Jackson. Heck, even Joe Lieberman would be a step-up over these two Senators.

It seems many here refuse to be labeled Republican, yet will immediately dismiss any Democrat because of the D. They refuse to be Republicans but are railing against RINOs (which are Republicans).

So, I guess we’re simply going to continue the temper tantrum here and gain nothing...

Let me ask a question and see if we can get this thing focused!

I can tell the difference. Liberals are definitely more dangerous then moderates. Only one thing is more dangerous then a liberal Democrat, however.

A liberal Republican!

One issue doesn’t make someone a good pick. McCain was no better than Obama.

I live on a working farm. The entire notion of a person saying that McCain would have been better than Obama is like walking through my back pasture and stepping in sheep crap, and afterwards wishing they had stepped in goat crap because goat crap is better. It's NOT better though. This entire notion is one which is REFERENCED on a lesser of two evils. It's completely the WRONG reference.

I'm preaching to the choir with you. I know this. :-)
