Apparently there are still some posters on FR who are fast asleep. Wake up! Dammit! We are in the middle of a conservative rebellion! While you were sleeping we, along with millions of other freedom loving grassroots Americans have participated in hundreds of tea parties all across this great land and fully intend to keep it up until all of America is awake. We are fed up and mad as hell! We grassroots Americans are delivering a message to the ruling class: NO MORE!!
No more big government! No more high taxes! No more government bailouts! No more government takeovers! No government healthcare! No more corruption! No more global baloneyism!!
We're sick and tired of liberals and RINOs running roughshod over our God given Liberty!
We want our country back! We want our freedom back! We want it all back!!
No more socialism!!
Cut the taxes! Cut the spending! Cut the government!
Restore the constitutional limits on government! Restore our freedom!!
And not only no, but HELL NO to liberals and RINOS!!
Free Republic will not support RINOS!! Rudy McRomney, et al, can go straight to hell!!
The strategy is we win, they lose.
Any questions?
Well I found your reponse quite funny. It made me chuckle even if it was lost on him.
Hold it.
On ELECTION NIGHT I saw people calling the NJ governor-elect a RINO!
Thank you, I’m here all week! ;)
You just don’t get it. You never will - this country is far more conservative than you think. Look at NY23 - talk about divide and conquer! If they put a conservative in - we would have won. Instead they thought that a conservative wouldn’t win so they put a Democrat in the Republican spot. Textbook example of how DUMB the leadership in the GOP is. And then Newt even stood by Scuzzy - he has no morals - he’s just there to stand by the R after the last name.
Look at the popularity of Sarah Palin. She is a fiscal conservative, ran her budget well, she has principles.
Nevermind, talking to you is like talking to a brick wall. You will never get it.
LOL Wife’s measurements and name dropping... meanwhile, years ago... the second amendment sisters (formed on FR) got to meet BoB Barr in person when they presented him with *our* petitions..that numerous volunteers spent hours having people fill out. And Bob Barr served with nugent on the NRA board..and.. Oh wait a minute. That’s for a different thread. ((loved being a part of that, wish I could have been there for that—I was the missouri rep)) Ah, the good old days when people fought for rights, instead of fighting over what a conservative meant, and I don’t think the label rino was even utilized back then. Clinton actually unified us...sort of like Obama is with the tea party. IMHO, it’s the minority of repubs who are against change.
No, he gets it. He just doesn't like it because he's a liberal. He'll attack anyone having the strength to challenge the status quo because it challenges his liberal dominance. And he can't argue on merit so he patronizes and makes fun of us. Typical liberal mindset and ad-hominem methods.
How many successful, national, elective office campaigns have you been in charge of?
Shoot, that post should have been written to ALL....
AMEN Jim
Quick, check your mail...
Strawman there. Our choices haven’t been 0% or 75%. They’ve been 0% (donk) or 25% (GOP) conservative, and that’s being charitable.
But every time we try to push for even 50% conservative, we run into screams of “too conservative,” “not electable,” “gotta be more pragmatic,” blah blah blah. This despite the fact that the electorate is firmly center-right.
The irony is that when we run real conservatives or even somewhat conservatives, WE WIN (paraphrasing Rush). Heck, even in New Jersey! When we run the “pragmatic” choice ala McCain, we LOSE.
It’s really not that complex.
You might have to go back quite some time, but you’ll see more of the same that he/she/it has posted here. :-)
Well - I don’t know Tiger Woods if that’s what you’re asking.
But I bet you’ve been in charge of many national elections.
And I really, really believe that.
Excellent analogy! Seeing cellulitis (sp?) And open wound in a dear relative who lost his life to gangrene (too hard on his heart)...I can relate well..
“she brought us a different way of looking at things.”
So true!
And obama helped us see the light in his own way.., congress made the light even more illuminating—tea parties are evidence of this!
Wrong. Even the worst Republicans are better than that.
Collins: 49.55%
Snowe: 47.88%
{American Conservative Union, lifetime ratings}
That is so correct! It’s the stupid leadership that doesn’t get it. Why are they so dense? If we could get a fiscal conservative as a top runner - it should be such an easy win after Obamanomics.
And they need to close the primaries. That’s also how we got McCain. At least someone was smart enough to throw fiscally conservative, pro-life Sarah Palin in there once they figured out they were going to lose. Even she couldn’t bring it out thanks to the MSM.
That’s not what I was asking, as I was already aware that Tiger does not know you.

Sheesh. Are these numbers supposed to impress us? Your use of the term 'Strawman' is validated by the above response.
So tell me, how many successful, national, elective office campaigns have you run? You have no home page - not even the state where you live. I just figured you were posting from your mothers basement or someone who lived outside the US.
