Apparently there are still some posters on FR who are fast asleep. Wake up! Dammit! We are in the middle of a conservative rebellion! While you were sleeping we, along with millions of other freedom loving grassroots Americans have participated in hundreds of tea parties all across this great land and fully intend to keep it up until all of America is awake. We are fed up and mad as hell! We grassroots Americans are delivering a message to the ruling class: NO MORE!!
No more big government! No more high taxes! No more government bailouts! No more government takeovers! No government healthcare! No more corruption! No more global baloneyism!!
We're sick and tired of liberals and RINOs running roughshod over our God given Liberty!
We want our country back! We want our freedom back! We want it all back!!

The solution is to keep fighting. When I became a political activist I was a Goldwater conservative in the NY of Rockefeller, Javits and Lindsay. Then I moved to NJ,so I know how to fight and lose and fight again, decade after decade until finally Reagan was elected.

Sorry, running out of patience. But that is the topic and title of the thread. FR does not support RINOs.
It is impossible to converse on this thread to find a solution. I already stated that I have fought for the conservative candidate and all the responses backt o me are....fight for the conservative. Well isn't that just what I said? I fight and I'mstill stuck with boxer or Fiorina. Obviously, this doesn't fit in with the just don't vote crowd.
Of course Bush was a RINO but we all knew that before he became Pres. Some of his views were pretty well known, wern’t they?

The vast majority of government agencies can neither be reinvented nor reformed. If Americans want good government, hundreds of failed government programs must be abolished and legions of laws that turn government into a public nuisance must be repealed. I had a nice, quiet peaceful day at home - my favorite kind of day! With my DH. I played my guitar and sang, and did usual things. I don’t celebrate Thanksgiving with a big meal unless I’m with other people - with just hte two of us we didn’t do that. Also my kitchen is being worked on so I don’t have hot water and in fact yesterday no water in kitchn, and no oven for a long time. Puts a crimp in fancy cookin’!
I do think the tide is turning. I really do!
You MAY end up being 'stuck with boxer or Fiorina'', but not until next summer. Burn that bridge when you come to it, and oppose the RINO in the meantime.

By ‘04, he either fell under some BAD ADVICE from his Advisors, or the PARTY Leaders. By ‘06, I was leaning towards RINO. He listened to the LIBS in his party, and in the end, sounded like the RINO’s we were so fighting against.
Ever since REagan... the GOP’s nominees have been moving more and more, NOTICEABLY, and Methodically MORE LEFT. I’m afraid in ‘12, GOP gonna nominate SNOWEjob or COLLINS.

I had to work with a Strong Liberal after President Bush was first elected. She could barely work she was so upset. She said “I HATE Bush”. I replied “Yeah, he’s not my favorite either......he’s not Conservative enough”. She didn’t know what to say.
And if it came down to G.W. Bush or Al Gore or John Kerry again - I would vote for Bush in a heart beat. And work against him where I disagreed. I wasted one vote on Perot, and felt like an idiot afterwards. And eight years is a LONG time.
Living in NY, I’m always faced with the Choice of ... A Statist LIBERAL Democrat, or a Slightly Less Statist Liberal REPUBLICAN... I’ve found the perfect answer... FISHING.
