Obama climate czar Carol Browner on Wednesday rejected the e-mails that appear to show some British climate scientists trumped up global warming numbers, saying she considers the science settled.
"I'm sticking with the 2,500 scientists. These people have been studying this issue for a very long time and agree this problem is real," said Ms. Browner, who President Obama has tapped as his chief of policy on global warming.
The e-mails were hacked from the Climate Research Unit at the University of Wast Anglia and have come to light over the last week. They appear to show scientists saying they've smoothed over data that doesn't back up their claims of warming, and pondering how to freeze out scientists who disagree with them.
Release of the e-mails has fueled skeptics ahead of next month's major global warming meeting in Copenhagen, which is supposed to set the framework for a new global treaty to restrict greenhouse gas emissions.
The White House said Wednesday that Mr. Obama will personally travel to Copenhagen to commit the U.S. to greenhouse gas reductions.
But the data remains a point of debate, with skeptics pointing to several data sets that show the last few years have actually seen a cooling effect.
Sen. James Inhofe, Oklahoma Republican, has called for an investigation into the e-mails, and says they confirm his long-held suspicion that climate claims are not supported by the actual data.
Ms. Browner, though, said the only people who still doubt global warming is happening and that humans are to blame are "a very small group of people who continue to say this isn't a real problem, that we don't need to do anything."

2500 scientists/57 states = 44 scientists per state. Surely there are more scientists in the US?

So, the affirmative action liar-in-chief's lying energy czar is going to continue to support the liars, the fraud, and the the global scam this hoax has inspired. Not surprising since the agenda the lie is aimed to support is too big to fail. There's a planet to control don'tchaknow, so the bastard in chief and his henchghouls cannot allow the truth to get in the way of the lie employed by those they serve.

“Global warming” was exposed as a complete fraud the moment they gave that retarded slob Al Gore a Nobel Peace Prize. I took a dump this morning that had more scientific knowledge than that guy.
“czar” is a good descriptive name for these folks. They rule with an iron fist and are accountable to no one. Actually I think these mid-level bureaucrats are more powerful and more entrenched than the high profile cabinet members who must be confirmed by the Senate. These czars are the ones who actually implement and enforce BHO’s radical left policy agenda.

The scientists are screaming “invasion of privacy”. They’ve become victims just like the poor folk who used to work at acorn.
Never mind they broke the law. That’s not important. Never mind their twisted logic is going to cost us billions. Never mind we’ve had the coolest summer in recent memory.
Never mind the polar bears are doing just fine. Never mind they lied.

Meanwhile, notice the MASSIVE amount of “data and information” pouring out of every orifice of the liberal media, the Soros/AlGore cabal, and their willing accomplices in the Obama Administration and UN.
