Denver police arrest 32 in series of downtown assaults

The Denver Police Department arrested 32 men and juvenile boys after a months-long undercover investigation into what police said were racially motivated assaults and robberies in downtown Denver, including the LoDo entertainment district.

A task force composed of Denver police, the FBI and the Denver district attorney's office investigated 26 incidents in which groups of black males verbally harassed, assaulted and at times robbed white or Latino males, according to Denver Police Chief Gerry Whitman.

All of the suspects are young black males, most of whom told police they were associated with either the Rollin' 60s Crips gang or the Black Gangster Disciples gang.

The Gangster Disciples, originally Black Gangster Disciple Nation. is a street gang formed on the South-side of Chicago in the late 1960s by David Barksdale, leader of the Black Disciples, and Larry Hoover, leader of the Supreme Gangsters. The two groups, both members of the Folk Nation alliance, united to form the Black Gangster Disciple Nation (BGDN).

(U.S. DEA, 1997) Hoover was serving a 200-year sentence for a 1973 gang-related murder. Hoover and six associates were found guilty of these charges, and Hoover was transferred to a federal prison in Terre Haute, Indiana. Hoover's incarceration in the federal prison is expected to seriously disable the Gangster Disciples gang.

Uh... who was running the DOJ and DEA back in 1997???? Janet Reno?, nah. Shakes was just a mouth piece. IIRC it really was some guy named .... (drum roll) ... Eric Holder! In any case, putting Hoover at Terre Haute didn't work out too well as Hoover is now at the United States Penitentiary Administrative Maximum Facility (ADX) in Florence, Colorado. And it looks like the DEA and Eric Holder were wrong with their 1997 prediction about 'disabling the Gangster Disciples gang' since they've spread all over the USA, like this case in Denver.

So if Eric Holder can't stop an uneducated Gang Banger like Larry Hoover, what's the odds he can stop a College Educated TERRORIST?

As we speak people at AP, NYT and the TV News Networks are participating in an emergency conference call concerning the best way to suppress this story and prevent it from going national. Breaking the story on the weekend was clearly part of the local Denver media’s contribution to the effort.
First, order of business is containment. Second is labeling Fox and anyone who dares to carry the story nationally, as racists. Third, if containment fails, getting the right people in front of the cameras to explain it away, i.e How the perps were reacting to
white privilege or bringing up some unrelated case of white on black violence and accusing the press of not adequately covering that case. Fourth, move on make it a one day story. No interviews with victims, no reporting of the trial. If the NYT drops it; then it must be a non-story.

This will be an interesting test of the MSMs current ability to suppress and manipulate and also,the free presses ability and will to fight the suppression.
My best guess is the fear of being labeled racist is so powerful; that conservative media will let the story die. Sometimes the truth is to radioactive for even the most committed truth tellers.
