Its been a little while since a good confrontation between a birther and a member of Congress, but heres one from last week: a constituent of Rep. Scott Garrett (R-N.J.) asking his congressman why Republicans wont do anything about the eligibility issue. It makes for awkward viewing, as Garretts staff clearly wants a change of subject from an audience that seems to be fine with pushing the question. At around 4:40 in the video, the congressman finally engages.
Obviously, there is no political solution to it, says Garrett. Even if the entire Republican Party was united on the issue
Hes cut off by another constituent. Have him show his birth certificate! Its as simple as that! None of this talk about it, talk about it just lets see the birth certificate!
I agree, says Garrett whos not one of the 12 sponsors of the birther bill.
Video after the jump:
And yet when Congressman Garrett had an opportunity to challenge Obama’s Electoral College votes on the grounds of ineligibility and stop his inauguration at the joint session of Congress chaired by Dick Cheney on January 8, 2009 to certify the Electoral College vote, he and 434 other members of Congress and 100 Senators just sat on their hands and said/did nothing.
All it would have taken is any one Senator and any one Congressman/Woman to submit a written objection and an investigation would have had to been conducted.
Its politically expedient for politicians to object NOW that Obama’s Electoral College votes are certified and he is sworn in by the Chief Justice (twice).
I think what Fee is saying is that only 0 can take himself down right now. He’s defended by the media, rabid fans, and the powers that be. He’s the ultimate “yes-man”. Surgery on this wound can only make it worse today.
I’m thinking long-term, preparing to pick up the pieces. Why fight to the death a machine so clearly destined to fail on its own? Have patience and be ready with a better way once the inevitable happens.
The sooner more leakage, the better.
When public opinion swells against him, the end will be in sight. My preference is leg shackles, second would be the strait jacket.
"While only 13 per cent of Democratic Party supporters believe Obama was not born in the U.S., the proportion rises to 25 per cent among Independents and 51 per cent among Republican Party backers.

I pray that just once I would see justice against our nation's Marxists in my lifetime.
Riots and unrest are only a minor consequence in comparison to what we face if this usurper remains in office.
The birthers being branded as “crazy” flew nicely before the process of reality setting in started. Since O has done nothing but one disaster after another, it looks like a little bit of reality might be starting to seep through into American’s minds. It continues to look like the country is economically sputtering without hope of a turnaround as long as the communists inhabit the administration. Once things get bad enough, O will be thrown under the bus even by the MSM. At that point, no one will have much reason to oppose forcing a look at that birth certificate, and it will make a nice excuse for throwing O out of office both for Dems and Repubs - everybody. That’s what I predict, for what it’s worth...
Oh, and Mr. Garrett has scored 100% on his voting. NJ’s little secret is that it is NOT a blue state, but a blue and a red stuck together. If there was a way, the state would instantaneously split into two. But the ultra-corrupt cities won’t let go, like shoe-poo. It’s been a giant wealth redistribution / robbery scheme for as long as I can remember. Mr. Garrett is just about as conservative as one can get and has performed superbly in voting for NJ.
Thanks Mr. Garrett !
Yes.
It is my hunch that SCOTUS--still smarting collectively from Bush v. Gore, and not wanting to be perceived as a decider of presidential fortunes--wants the solution to be political in nature. When there is sufficient political incentive to remove BO from office, I think some of the eligibility cases might "magically" gain sudden traction.
Just a theory, of course.
With the Kenyan birth certificate, so goes swift impeachment and criminal prosecution for the entire fraudulently ‘elected’ Obama administration.
It seemed so 6 months ago. This issue has no legs. I've long believed that once the public has turned against Obama like they are now some who have discarded questions about Obama’s Eligibility in the past will look at ANY means to give rid of the Idiot. Understand that some here STRICTLY believe Obama was NOT born in Hawaii and STRICTLY pursue that "angle." Others also point to a fraudulent birth certificate. It's quite hard to prove BOTH accusations without prima facie from the State of Hawaii, but it's possible nonetheless. However, these are just two aspects of Obama's Eligibility problem.
ALSO, as a child, Obama (Barry Soetoro) appears to be an Indonesian citizen for up to five years, which may have bearing on his NBC status: |

A small army of citizens and attorneys have been pursuing this for quite some time now don't confuse their quietness & obscurity as defeatism. The biggest obstacle regarding a proper addressing of Obama's Dual Citizenship at birth has NOT been that it has no merit, but that Standing (and Venue) has not been properly presented. Obama and Robert Bauer would be ill-advised to think that Obama & the US Attorneys' "non-defense" will last Obama the entire four years some legal group will find the correct approach and bring this before a judge successfully for full consideration of the merits. It's not a matter of IF, but WHEN. Many cases are in the hopper now at various stages of the appealate process. As the slobbering Obama Love Fest comes to a crashing end, this issue will likely get the legs — and attention — that has been lacking due to misdirection of the Left and the MSM.
Further, it certainly appears Obama has lied about a GREAT many things ...
Are you SO sure he hasn't lied about the events surrounding his citizenship as a child and young adult that might have affected his Natural Born Citizen status? REALLY are you 100% positive that it's impossible??!

Thanks for the update and clarification. I sure hope you’re right that we get Obama thrown out of office. The way the (corrupt) legal system is today, it’s a bigger challenge than it would have been 50 years ago.
It’s going to be harder to avoid as time goes on.
Yes, it would “destabilize the country” for a time. But the country is unstable as the political elite have come to believe they are above the rule of law and the constitution is dead. They openly cheat in elections. They openly steal from the treasury and have spend us into debt beyond what is sane and safe for the country. They conspire with foreigners, banksters and corporations against the interest of the US and the American people and our constitution. It is the old “too big to fail” argument; too big to be held under the rule of law.
The destabilization process of exposing and prosecuting these frauds would be like cleaning a festering sore on the head of this country. I would hurt but unless the wound is dealt with we will lose the patient to the infection.
The criminal enterprise that is known as the American government and political and economic elite has been ongoing and getting worse for decades now. Most Americans have already lost confidence our government because it is no longer ruled by law and the constitution is dead. It is not ruled by law because no one wants to destabilize it because the corruption is so complete.
Under ordinary circumstances - if this was the only fraud this pack of thieves was running on the Nation - I would agree to leave it alone. But not now. The corruption is too complete and dangerous for the survival of the nation and it's system of freedom. Whatever the people can do to frog march a bunch of them off to trial for treason, will serve future generations who will know that in America, no one is above the rule of law and the oath Americans in power take to defend the constititution really means what it says. And no one is too big to be held responsible for undermining our system of elections and government from within.
