Sarah Palin opines on the economy, NY-23, a third party movement, immigration and her book.
Palin says we should cut taxes for job creators.
Palin says NY-23 was "encouraging" and "exciting." She says Americans are seeking a conservative, common sense approach to doing things.
Palin says she is trying to reach hard-working Americans in her book.
Palin also responds to a jab from Vice President Joe Biden.
She says we are "dithering" in sending a message to terrorists.

Sarah Palin, the next ((real)) President of the United States of America.
She sure as heck better run.
We need to listen to the border states where the governors there have some solutions and we need to get serious about that.
Folks, the Governors in the border states can be some real idiots. A number of them have expressed some rather disgusting views of what should be done about illegal immigration.
Let's please not defer to their thinking here.
Illegal immigrants need to be repatriated to the nation of their origin. Our borders need to be tightened up to the point that if the national guard is needed to do it, we use them. Where Mexican nationals on the border shoot at our people, we institute hot pursuit and destroy them, pure and simple.
This pussy footing around to please the Mexican government and the Mexican people, is asinine when you consider we have actual citizens who aren't being pleased by this situation. And they would like their jobs back.
My respect for Sarah Palin only grows more
I bet Rush would have liked to have had her on longer. She was in NYC and I bet her schedule is hectic. Interviews with Beck and O’Reilly and no telling how many others! And then off to Mich. tomorrow!
bookmark...thanks for posting this, I missed it and was so mad! :) You just made my rainy day so much better.
Everyone in Michigan is SO lucky to have the opportunity to meet her. Let me know if you get to meet her
Ping for later
I would have to get on a plane to do that. The closest she will get to me is over in Alabama I think!
thanks...
GOV. PALIN: You know another key to this, too, is to not hesitate duking it out within the party. This is what I appreciate about the Republican Party. We have contested, aggressive, competitive primaries. Were not like this herd mentality like a punch of sheep with the fighting instincts of sheep, as Horowitz would say like some in the Democrat Party; where, heaven forbid, you take a stand and you oppose somebody within your own party because its the right thing to do. I appreciate that in the Republican Party. Some on the other side say you know, theyre observing what goes on in the GOP and say Thats infighting, and they cant get along, and theres no consensus there. No. This is healthy debate, good competition that makes candidates work harder. It makes for a better product, if you will, at the end of the day. I appreciate that about our party.
-—One of the reasons I’m on the right.
Without Shamnesty John and Sarah would have won.
Why do they want in? Because we make available to them paying jobs.
As soon as we make it economically unfeasible to hire illegal labor then there will be no more jobs for them and they will...
1) Go home.
2) Stop trying to get in.
Catch and release, even south of the border release, does nothing to alleviate the DEMAND for illegal labor that they are seeking to fill.
I heared it live. I was impressed.
She only had 30 seconds to answer that question. I wish she could gotten in to more detail because I have been sceptical of views on the issue.
“You know, let me put it simply: Illegal immigrants are called illegal for a reason. We need to crack down on this. We need to listen to the border states where the governors there have some solutions and we need to get serious about that.
So much for those who said Palin is in favor of shamnesty. “
Just where in that statement did she say she was NOT in favor of amnesty? She’s said it before....she endorsed McCAin’s ‘path to legalization’. HER words, not mine.
We need to hear more from her instead of saying she says things she doesn’t. And as for the ‘border governors’...just which ones of those were against amnesty?? NONE of them, that’s who. What has any of them done to stop illegal immigration??? NOTHING, that’s what.
