US President Barack Obama came to office promising hope and change. But on climate change, he has followed in the footsteps of his predecessor George W. Bush. Now, should the climate summit in Copenhagen fail, the blame will lie squarely with Obama.

From a sane view on the right, you can’t blame Obama, the upcoming epic fail in Copenhagen is OUR success story at getting out the truth about AGW nonsense. But it sure is fun to see the hard left turn on Obama for not being able to sell the lies to their satisfaction.
Obama=Epic Fail. Each of must do everything we can to make his failure complete and total at every level down to dog catcher.
And that ain't sayin' much...
The Chinese gave Obama the word. Simple as that.
Like Limbaugh and others, I view Oba Mao’s “failure” as success!
Hey he got a puppy and wrote an Executive Order on TEXT MESSAGING while driving

DO NOT take your eyes off Copenhagen. All it takes is for Hillary or some other agent of the US government to sign something and we’ll be committed to cap and trade, whether in reality or under the table.
AGW = Al Gore Warming? Al Gore Weirdness? Al Gore Whoring?
Let's see if I've got this straight. If the USA ruins its economy, and gives all its money to 3rd world countries, China and India might be stupid enough to follow.
What a deal!
AGW - Anthropogenic (human-caused) global warming.
He announced a FORUM on jobs (more taxpayer money wasted on teleprompter pre screened question-speeches)
Oh and More KEY administration posts < / political correctness off > he is getting more czars and making government and his admin even bigger full of communists and radicals. While we suffer and lose jobs.

Article 2, Section 2 of the constitution: He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur;
So we would not necessarily be committed unless the Senate ratifies. Yes, keep your eyes on Copenhagen. But watch the Senate. And watch efforts to change its role in the ratification of treaties.
> DO NOT take your eyes off Copenhagen. You are SO correct! If there's anything we know about "Obama the Man-Child", he is EASILY MANIPULATED by people from whom he seeks APPROVAL. Adoration is Obama's Achilles Heel. This German “Der Spiegel” opinion piece is part of a Leftist effort meant to SHAME der reckless Obama into signing the damn pact. Here's the LAST two paragraphs:
The Copenhagen summit, which is just three weeks away, is not lost yet. But if the worst-case scenario becomes reality at Copenhagen and at the follow-up conferences — if, in other words, world leaders ignore the findings of the global scientific community — then the US will find itself in a very uncomfortable position. America will be seen as the primary culprit of global warming — and this after the US, with its rampant real estate speculation, has given us a global economic crisis which has not only destroyed assets, but pushed 100 million people worldwide into hunger. With that kind of track record, the US hardly has a claim any more to the leadership of the Western world — let alone a Nobel Peace Prize for its leader.
A world of flooded coasts, dried-up rivers and disappearing rainforests will lead to massive refugee movements and conflict. The Nobel Committee should postpone the award of the Nobel Peace Prize from Dec. 10 to Dec. 20. Only if Obama has achieved a convincing deal at the Copenhagen conference will there be a real reason to honor him. |
The ultimate in the rhetorically hypothetical.
The takeaway line from the article:
“For most Americans, the world beyond the US’s borders is nothing more than an irritating nuisance.”
They got that right.
Algore is certinly anthropogenic, though his parents probably would try to place the blame elsewhere.
