Axelrod Signals Obama Will Try to Strip Abortion Language From Health Care Bill by FOXNews.com
The amendment, authored by Rep. Bart Stupak, D-Mich., went beyond preventing the proposed government-run plan from covering abortion to restrict federal subsidies from going toward private plans that offer abortion coverage. David Axelrod says the amendment changes the 'status quo,' something the president cannot abide.
White House Senior Adviser David Axelrod suggested Sunday that President Obama will intervene to make sure a controversial amendment restricting federal funding for abortion coverage is stripped from final health care reform legislation.

Please do so Obama, pleeeeze do so.
When we finally get to see what the mandatory coverage in our insurance plans are, we’ll find that every man, woman and child mush have abortion coverage in that plan.
The entire abortion issue for socialized medicine is a red herring.
They can strike it now. Pass Socialized Medicine.
And then cover abortion in some future legislation.
STOP SOCIALIZED MEDICINE NOW!!!
I usually reserve that name for him under my breath.
"So Let it Be Written, So Let it Be Done"
You know I wasn’t happy with the Stupak amendment anyway.
They inserted it so they could vote on the bill and then turn around and say ...will Stupak changed abortion ...blah, blah, blah...
Stop letting them abuse your religious beliefs to pass bad legislation.
Good maybe these buffoons will stop thinking that odumbo is a moderate anything!!!

I think the article is poorly written. The author meant to say, “the president will seek to get his minions in Congress to strip the language added to the bill in the House out of the bill in the Senate” or something to that effect. The idea is that he will “strip it out” by twisting arms of Democrats in Congress, not that he would or could unilaterally strip it out of a bill passed by Congress and awaiting his signature.
They author left out the secondary agent(s) of the action of the verb “strip.”
It will have to pass again when it comes out of the joint committee (that is if the Senate also passes a bill), if it’s to become law. If abortion is covered, it won’t pass the House.
Forgot why I once thought that Yul Brynner was really hot. Now I remember.
How could America possibly exist if the government didn’t pay for women to murder their baby in their womb.
All show and yell with not a word of truth anywhere.
I suspect it’s high time to start giving some moral support to these pro-life dems:
Oh you won't have to have it in your plan,BUT you will be forced to pay for it, as if it is in your plan.
