WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama does not plan to accept any of the Afghanistan war options presented by his national security team, pushing instead for revisions to clarify how and when U.S. troops would turn over responsibility to the Afghan government, a senior administration official said Wednesday.
That stance comes in the midst of forceful reservations about a possible troop buildup from the U.S. ambassador in Afghanistan, Karl Eikenberry, according to a second top administration official.

Obama was upfront about Muslims and his choice: “...I’ll hang with the Muslims.”
He’s obviously one, if anyone on Free Republic still has any doubt.
I guess as a Muslim, Obammy can’t keep fighting the Muslims.
How about the option we bring our troops home and give the Taliban Hussein.

It is more than obvious his faith is clouding his judgement and directing his loyalties.
I don't think it's the stress getting to him. I think it's that he actually has to show up places and produce results that is wearing him down. Think about it, he has probably never had to do that before.
Sometimes I wonder if he will make it four years.
I am not religious but it is hard to dismiss the way the world has shook out and is continuing to shake out. If true, your scenario is a believable one.
It won't take much more time, if they haven't already made this determination, before the quislings that run the EU come to the conclusion that the only way to keep some power and keep a lid on their Islamic fifth column is by embracing Islam as the one world religion.

Well, isn’t that interesting! Good to see that he always wrote badly and made no sense...but I wonder who he was about to quote in that final sentence. Somebody older than he, obviously - possibly Bill Ayers? Ayers was also very involved with the nuclear disarmament groups.
There’s a mention of Guatemala in there, too, which struck me as something that would have been dear to the leftist Ayers’ heart.
...so he’s voting “present.”
It is so sad having to watch this dim-bulb do 20 years of maturing in a year at the expense of so many Americans.
Sadly, he is never going to mature into the man necessary to be the president this country deserves.
I cannot wait to vote against him in 2010 and again in 2012.
