JARRATT, Va. -- John Allen Muhammad, the sniper who kept the Washington region paralyzed by fear for three weeks as he and a young accomplice gunned down people at random, was executed Tuesday night by lethal injection.

They must think we're stupid - look at his name, look at Malvo's jailhouse drawings etc.
Unbelievable, PC has killed still more at Ft Hood last week, how many more will there be before they accept the obvious ?
Unfortunately, we still have to worry about the other nut...THE BOY (Malvo... I think that is the name). Will he kill again?.... He will be out when all the "tender" hearts feel sorry for him and conveniently forget what he did...
The present system has evolved into the number of appeals it has because of notorious cases of persons being proved clearly innocent after appearing to have been duly convicted and put on death row. That kind of situation will frequently result in new cautions being issued from the US Supreme Court.
That wasn’t aimed at you HiTech.....sorry....
that was for St. louie....
Yes, but it may not be so wonderful as you imply.
Targeting the legislature would’ve been devastating - in the sense of creating mass chaos as we try to piece it back together with virtually nothing in the interim. That’s alot of people to replace.
Despise many of them as you may, but stability is a key component of a good republic, and United93’s target was as good for destroying that as any. The Moslems weren’t stupid - they didn’t hit “symbols” as the numbskulls spout; they hit important targets. (Note: Capitol WAS a target, so it would’ve been hit as well as the Pentagon, not just “instead”.)
Which is total BS now that we have good DNA checks. You can’t beat that.
May God have mercy on his soul.
The USA is now a better place because this scummy SOB is dead, and if that isn't something to rejoice about then nothing is.
Last I read the malvo kid was 99 to life with no parole...I could be mistaken.....
I sheepishly admit that I hope they slipped a nice slice of raw pork between his buttocks before pushing the plunger.
I don’t think it’s an accident that his death was called at 9:11.
Look the dude didn’t say “We shouldn’t have killed him,” he said he personally doesn’t rejoice over executions. he didn’t even say the rest of the Freepers were wrong to, only that he doesn’t.
I don’t know why there are folks on this thread bitching at him.
I believe the crimes were committed with all doubt removed... I would rather my tax dollars go to something more constructive than this Piece of Sh!ts natural physical existence ) mortality) his death today is a blessing.......
DNA didn’t figure in this case, but it did serve in showing where the courts did indeed make a judgment contrary to truth in other cases. I have no complaint on this particular situation — it was about as close to catching somebody red handed as you can get.
Timothy McVeigh did the crime on April 19, 1995 and got the needle on June 11, 2001, so sucked oxygen for one year less than Muhammad by my calculation.
And I am praying to the Lord that they hang the effer who killed the people at Fort Hood, tomorrow.... I have already volunteered to build the gallows...........I will buy the wood and nails and ROPE... no jive........
Yall done goooood, Patriot.
If George W. Bush were still the president, Hasan would be sent to Gitmo and waterboarded for all he’s worth to try to find out what’s still going on behind the scenes (seems he had some connections to the known 9/11 terrorists, connections that we obviously missed). As it is, Obama will probably try to hush things up by having him court martialed and shot.
You are spot on dude......
Justice is served and may God have mercy on his soul.
(Was it the language? I’ll soften it. Was the point unclear? I was railing against “humane” lethal injection as hardly “punishment”. I’m surprised the post was pulled given the overwhelming sentiments on this thread. If something else, please explain.)
So tonight John Allen Mohammed was rendered unconscious and his heart & lungs stopped.
So what. I did that last year. No big deal.
I kid you not. Last year I had open heart surgery. I was rendered unconscious and my heart & lungs stopped for several hours. Last I recall was something about being made comfortable, then everything switched off. No pain followed for 6 hours, until I suddenly wanted to rip the breathing tube out of my throat in recovery, followed by a week of pain having had my rib cage spread with a car jack.
Punishment? Meh. He took a nap. I did the same not knowing if Id wake up, and suffered more than he when I did.
