Didn't anyone in the US Army notice what Sen. Joe Lieberman says were "very, very strong warning signs" that Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, the alleged Ft. Hood gunman, had become a "self-radicalized, home-grown terrorist"?
US intelligence agencies reportedly knew for months that the Army psychiatrist had tried to make contact with people linked to al Qaeda. So why was Hasan allowed to stay in the service?
Lieberman says the Senate Homeland Security Committee, which he chairs, wants to get to the bottom of what he rightly says looks to be "the most destructive terrorist act to be committed on American soil since 9/11."

Lieberman’s on the right track here.
Which should further endear him to the moron’s who currently run the Senate.
PC thinking costs lives, yours and mine. It will be interesting to see exactly how many Americans have to die before Liberals admit they’re dead wrong.
“interesting to see exactly how many Americans have to die before liberals...”
Huuuh my opinion is that you should not wait to get an answer because it will take A LOT OF DEATH before liberals collectively admit they are “dead wrong”.
BTW some liberals mike OBAMA are not only average PC parrots but pro-muslim activists american haters...This is worse
FBI blew off killer e-mail to al Qaeda: Officials admit shrugging off gunman’s e-mails to Qaeda ...””
This case is all about why profiling is right??
When you practice PC; you are blind to reality.
Back then, (way before cell phones, the internet and computers--yes, I know, the "dark ages") we were able to conduct investigations with simple techniques which had been shown to be effective
We checked the applicants listed "references" (which of course would always be positive) but also were required to develop others on our own.
We checked records, neighbors, employment and if anything was developed, we included it in our reports which were then followed up by other agents and agencies.
How in this day and age, such major red flags were not considered at the least, "questionable" is beyond credulity.
This had to be a deliberate instance whereby those responsible either looked the other way on what was developed or were instructed to do same due to his religion and fear of reprisal in the form of suits or being considered Islamophobic
Lastly, unless something has changed considerably in the military (which in this topsy-turvy PC world, is always possible) there is no need to "profile."
It is simply a matter of someone deciding that a person is a "risk" and NOT granting them a clearance (even a routine Secret one) which in itself is a career ending move and I can not imagine that someone in Hasan's capacity (and rank) had not been subjected to a Top Secret Security Investigation, which I would love to see the report generated therefrom and the actions recommended--or not.
Common Sense is GONE in our country!
They'll never admit it.
The left doesn't care. Their thinking is a few lives is a small price in the name of diversity.
The very fact that the left starting pushing PC so quickly after 9-11 says a lot about their attitude.
Secondly, since this was an attack on the military, a group many on the left already consider an enemy, these deaths will be considered acceptable and even justifiable to many on the left.
