The House tries to pass Obamacare in a big hurry, breaking how many Constitutional rules/regulations??
FOX news coverage can be seen online at http://www.blinkotv.com/ (select "HD Test")
I seem to have cut straight to the hangover without getting any kind of a buzz.
In addition to the result of this vote, look at the final Dem and Republican tallies, to see if any members failed to show up tonight. That will affect the number of votes required to support Obamacare.
Yea 157 nay 150
Ack. Totally ignorant Obamavoter on CSPAN phone line quoting Grayson talking points that Republicans just want everyone to die...good grief. How do these people survive in the real world being that ignorant?!? Forrest Gump had more common sense in his little finger! Now another OV wanting all her medical bills paid off...entitlement minded people getting on my last nerve alert!!
Amendment is leaning Yea, with about 100 votes outstanding.
Yea 177 Nay 160
I understand why Republicans cannot vote against Stupak, but I don’t get why some Republicans - particularly the “moderate” ones, can’t just sit out the vote entirely.
Same question here.
Remember, everybody. If the Stupak amendment passes, then pro-abort baby-killing vampire RATS will have to vote yes on a bill that contains garlic and holy water.
208 176
Yeas at 225, it passes
We are planning to sack DC....establish a government in the Midwest...cut the power of the MSM commie propagandists in NY, Hollywood, DC, VA, MA....build the gallows...
You in?
Stupak has passed so the phony Blue Dogs have their fig leaf.
BOHICA
The Dems will be happy to vote for a bill including the Stupak Amendment, knowing that it will help push the process along, and then they can restore funding to kill people in the House-Senate conference.
Because the Catholic Bishops said voting present would be scored as a no vote.
Yes - 231
No - 188
The amendment will pass.
C-SPAN: National Right to Life issued a notice that they would score a “present” vote as a NO.
Various right to life groups told the GOP that they would score a “present” vote as a “no” vote.
It would be cool if the Pubbies pulled a switcheroo and killed Stupak, but it ain’t gonna happen.
So had Boehner at least whipped the Pubblies into shape- does it look as though they will all vote against the bill?
Ok, I’m lost. Why are the republicans voting for it?
