CALL NOW, CALL OFTEN, CALL THEM ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Same thing used to happen with Mel Martinez office...they’d just have a recording on.
I called my House member, in fact I emailed her, called her Washington office (couldn’t get through on main line, it’s busy...so called her dedicated line), then I called her local office. Both phones were answered and the aides I spoke with were polite (she’s a Dem, but voted against TARP, so there might be some hope she’d stand up to Pelosi, plus I’m in Florida and lots of seniors in this district.)
trying to get through
Called Lieberman’s office and thanked him for his fiscal responsibility on healthcare and asked that he stick to his guns and vote against it.
Kay Bailout?
You can't recall a Congressman or Senator. All you can do is vote them out of office when they're up for re-election. So I don't think the person you spoke with took your comment very seriously.
Working my way down the list...I tell them NO BILL WE ARE BROKE!
called the direct line to Connelly, not that it will do any good.
18 States allow citizens to petition to recall a US senator. They are Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia,
Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New
Jersey, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington and
Wisconsin.
Sen. Ben Nelson, Nebraska
The guy on the phone said he was on the fence....(doubtful). Once again I said this monstrosity is UNCONSTITUIONAL and I dont want to pay 10 times as much for much worse service. I dont want my health care turned over to the DMV/post office. I dont want any version of HELLCARE. (Thank you very much)
Gene taylor is getting an ear ful his line has been busy all morning, I have been callng since 6 am pdt time.. along with every one else... the toll free numbers are busy as well...
MADAME SPEAKER: TEAR UP THIS BILL!!!
Sen. Mark Pryor, Arkansas
No answer.....went to voice mail which is full.
Go ish go!
Email him. Let him feel the heat.
Tried its busy. I will keep trying. Boucher! don’t get me started on him, that should be our seat, on for Republicans argggghhhhh.
Bump
Called Senator Kit Bond’s office, a very exasperated-sounding woman answered the phone and the first words out of her mouth were “He’s against the public option”. I think we might be getting to them.
Will do.....
Just called Rep. Brian Baird, Washington 3rd
His local office. She said he was not ‘commited yet’ lol. Expressed the same sentiments above and warned that there would be a recall effort if he votes for this naked power grab.
(I know these leftist scumbags are afraid of the Tea Party movement. They should be. )
Interrupt message “All circuits are busy” from area code 352.
