I’m also 55 (well, next month) and I will never join. Out of 4 of my AARP eligible friends, 3 will never join, 1 is still on the fence (encouraging as she is a big lib!)

I would have loved to see those cameras follow the people that are looking for congressmen. Thats probably the better part of the show..and nobody is doing it.

By the way. AARP advertises for major financial companies like Vanguard. Did you know AARP gets a “big cut” from these companies? Do they disclose it in the magazine? No. You have to read their corporate financials for disclosure. I hope they all rot in hell.

I am delighted that they all are there. If they were not, it would be a rally with a few thousand people and one representative from Minnesota shouting her opposition to the President. The sheer number of Republican congressmen willing to appear at the rally is dramatic in itself.
Very good point; bears repeating. While I got kinda tired of listening to the politicking, I was heartened to hear the fire return to some members' speeches.
The sight of so many thousands of Americans showing up in DC on such short notice is giving some of them the testicular fortitude that they need to fight ObamaCare/PelosiCare.
You cant even get thru to them to unsubscribe...you have to just let your subscription run out.
Some folks, on some other forum, take the junk that they mail them..and if it comes with a prepaid envelope, they mail the garbage back to them, so they have to pay the postage..lol

I know what is bothering me about Boehner.
His hair reminds me of Mitt Rommney,,slick and uses some kind of product that reminds me of the Mafia.
And he looks like a drinker, his clothes are too tight and his face looks puffy and red.
And his name always makes me think dirty thoughts.
I have to agree. I may not always agree with him, but he fights the good fight.
