Anything is possible I guess, but I think they will just kick the can down the street indefinitely until obamacare is forgotten. If they were going to go kamikaze they would have done it by now, hell, they would have done it before the first deadline i.e. the August recess. Obviously something is holding up the suicide mission and now, after the recent election, things are even worse.

We will see. I really don’t think they have the balls for such a suicide mission, nor the willingess to sacrifice dearly for a greater cause than themselves.

Newsmax published a list of 111 new agencies and programs that are in the 2,032 pages of the House “Health Care” bill. Many of them have nothing to do with health care, and they include at least 39 new regulatory bodies or positions, 31 new grant or scholarship programs, and 19 demonstration or pilot programs.

Also, one Fox contributor who dug into the $787B “stimulus package” found that the chief regulatory body — and its czar — were in the stimulus package and are just awaiting application.

One... man who thinks he knows Washington says he’s unafraid of what BHO is doing, that he could undo it all in a minute. I just sort of doubt him a little bit, and believe that a kamikaze assault to be quite possible, and quite possibly successful unless we’re willing to do whatever is needed to stop the marxists. I am.

I have sometimes wondered that myself-how would we Americans have reacted if the tables were reversed. I think that, if the odds were stiff enough, many people would consciously give their lives to save some remnant of what they hold dear. This probably would happen irregardless of what their religious and cultural context would be.

But there are instances where our Judeo-Christian legacy can be applied and expressed fully. If you consider your life a divine gift, then you would not give it lightly to a government or creed. Rather, you would work deliberately and forcefully to grant yourself and your posterity freedom from want and fear. Freedom that comes from your own efforts, beholden to none but the Almighty who sends opportunity your way.

I hope that this is what we conservatives, through our tea parties, grass roots activism and sites like this, are trying to achieve. I would not want us to emulate the mindless and soulless fanaticism of those trying to take our freedoms from us. Rather, like our real and spiritual ancestors who faced the kamikazes, meet force with resolve and terror with purpose, with full confidence in our culture and values and its extraordinary capacity for raising the human condition.

Suicidal attacks and sucicide attacks are fundamentally different. Americans have often shown a great willingness to fight in situations where the chance for survival was near nill (at least to a rational person). However, the idea of simply committing suicide as some type of act of honor doesn’t fit into Western values.

To me the Japanese and Muslims are more concerned with ensuring their own death, than harming their enemy. Americans think more along the words of George Patton, “Make the other SOB die for his country.”

What keeps churning in my mind is “What will we do if they push these through?”

It seems those who are genuinely concerned are caught between “inciting” and and “sounding the alarm” right now.

But if they’re stupid enough to force these ...

... how long are we going to just say “whatever it takes”.

In the Japanese context of kamikaze, they rarely if ever use the Japanese word for "suicide", at least what I have come across are things like "ultimate sacrifice", "supreme sacrifice", "sacrifice", "self explosion", "special attack corps". I rarely, if even once, ever saw the moral-philosophical-tinged word "suicide" (自殺)(but in fact that is what they were, in addition to "homicide"). Interesting, isn't it?

Suicide is not part of c0ngressional vocabulary. They are weighing the risks and benefits of Americide.

The problem is that once they get anything with the name of Health Care on it they have everything. By the time there are enough Republicans in Congress to repeal(2010) it the agencies and bureaus will be set up and the clerks and bureaucrats hired. No conceivable Republican Congress will vote to disemploy a million or two bureaucrats and from then on the system will build and the socialist cancer will grow and eventually and inevitably metastasize into the whole economy. The same goes for Cap&Trade. Possibly the Left should have gone for Amnesty first off as there are a number of nominal Republicans who want that, too. Amnesty gives them another route to complete socialism in that it gives the Left the votes for installing themselves in a permanent one party government that can get whatever it wants whenever it wants politically.

Dick Morris Makes New Friends? Why? Why now?

What is with this sudden embrace of Dick Morris? This is the same Dick Morris who was joined at the hip to then-Senator Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. in a campaign to elect Raila Odinga in Kenya, a Marxist. A Jihadist. A candidate with a platform of Sharia Law, Breakaway Muslim Provinces, Expulsion of Christian Missionaries, Expropriation of Christian Property in the new "Muslim Areas"! This ain't ancient history, it was 2006.

Dick Morris was well paid for his illegal work with Obama in Kenya by the Clinton Foundation (and George Soros' fingerprints are on the check.)

Now, in what looks like a staged turnabout, he is backstabbing his Kenya companion. Looks like a tag-team play for Hillary in 2012. The Morris strategy: let's get the Republicans to do the heavy lifting so Hillary can stay above the fray and when Obama is done, she will be positioned to pick up the marbles.

Please to not give me the "Enemy of my enemy is my friend crap..." A rattlesnake is a bad pet for anyone.

The most noticeable thing about Morris is his predictions. He makes a lot of them and I only remember him being right about one. If he says that something is going to happen the money winning bet is for it not to happen.

This is their last chance. Ram this POS through, and they can spend all next year spinning. Citizens have a remarkably short memory. Note that (IIRC) this bill really doesn’t take effect for a few years! ergo there will be no short-term functional consequences if it passes. Come next November the public will be tired of the Right whining about a months-old bill which did no harm (at the time) and has been pushed off the headlines by whatever other crises can be manufactured.

If the Left can’t get this thru with a near-hammerlock on all three (four?) branches of power, they’ll just look pathetic. Heads will roll.

The last time I took in a "Right Wing Talk Show," was when I watched horrified as Hannity lavishly osculated the nether regions of his fellow Fox employee.

Dick Morris? Clinton-Paid Poisoner.

All they have to do is vote for Mob-O-Care as soon as possible, knowing they will be defeated, but also knowing that the Machine always takes care of its own.

I think they're going to do this, because there really is no down side for them, individually or as a whole.

Individually, they may not get reelected, but they'll have jobs and power forever through some bureaucratic appointment. And as a group, I think they know that they are putting something into place that is virtually going to destroy America and reshape it in their image - and it won't even fully take effect until they are out of power. Therefore, a lot of the blame will probably go to the GOP, since Americans have very short political memories.

My fear, however, is that Bambi is going to get really angry now and we're going to have some incident that is going to collapse the whole system and hand it over to the dictatorial power structure he already has in place. Never underestimate the power of a PO'ed sociopath. They get even.

Stimulus Package = Obama War Chest for American Socialism.

Very little of the Stimulus Money has been spent. Only 10% or so! The rest is a discretionary fund. Hasn't anyone noticed?

Revolutions cost money. And we gave Obama the money. Classic Marxism.
