"He advised to vote yes because it would stop PETA and leftist crazies from taking over Ohio farms with their eco-nonsense."
That's EXACTLY right. A board to oversee at least stops those crazies from putting small farms behind the 8-ball with rules and regulations and environmental crap. You done good! (I voted for it also, so we know it got at least two votes!)

Is that before or after fraudulent votes are tabulated? A poster at Ace of Spades coined the phrase 'margin of fraud'. At least I think that's where I read it. Well, wherever it was, it was clever.

It’s not worth much until election day. I think it’s accurate because it represents real money at risk. There’s no analysis or statistics, etc. People are putting their money on the GOP today - that speaks volumes.

Actually, you got at least four.

Ooo........thanks for the verification, traditional!
That makes three of us. My husband voted for it too. :)
So why was Strickland for it? Do you know?

Lower voter turnout usually means good for the GOP. It happened here in Indy. The demorats were so upset with the demorat incumbent candidate that they stayed home.
It happened in the Indy mayoral race.

The dimoKKKRATs are probably just now getting out of bed. Around sundown they will start arriving at the polls.
Good Point - Sunlight is probably bad for them!

These threads are great but sometimes info is lost when there are 2,500 replies. Could those of you following this please please please post a recap of news here every so often?
Kind of like:
Post #314-Virgina polling station staying open late!
Post #415-Lawsuit in NY over poll watchers!
(These are just made up examples-thanks for anyone who can do this for us!)

Hmm. Chris Van Hollen of DCCC is saying he’s confident of a Garamendi win in CA-10, but emphasizing it’s not a “slam-dunk district.”

Absentee ballots are a tested procedure for Dem wins.

Yes, and a third one for infighting. Sorry, but your five minutes are up. If you want more infighting, you're going to have to pay for another five minutes.

Diebold does ATM machines, and how many transactions are erroneous? Customers get a receipt, and somehow that could not be engineered into the voting machines. I wish it could have been done. The argument I've always heard is that giving voters a way to prove how they voted would facilitate vote selling and voter coercion.

If Garamendi wins, Lt Governor is vacant...Schwarzenegger has to appoint his succesor. Tom Campbell or Meg Whitman would get a leg up for next year’s primary....

Yes, I know! The dems came out winners no matter which way they attacked the reliability of these machines. Voters were losers.

If Garamendi doesn’t win, the Democrats are in HUGE trouble. I’d rather see that than some slimy RINO helping some other slimy RINO statewide.

Also from Geragty at NRO...
Then, from Blue Virginia: "I'm a bit skeptical of this, so take it with as big a grain of salt as you'd like, but it's from an excellent source. They got exit poll results from a precinct in Arlington that went 60%+ for Kaine in '05. With around 250 voters sampled over a 5-hour period this morning, McDonnell is up 22 points on Creigh Deeds. WTF? I mean, if that's even CLOSE to being true, it's horrible. Also, even if it gets better through the day, we're talking about possible margins in Arlington of less than 60% possible for Deeds. For comparison purposes, Tim Kaine got 74% of the vote in Arlington in 2005."
Yeah ! I like that kind of horrible...
I think Virginia is having a Howard Beale epiphany
