November and winter is now upon us and it is almost frightening to realise it is almost a year ago that the election was held that made us realise that the previous 8 years of President George W Bush time as President was drawing to an end.

Even though it has been about 9 months since George W Bush left office for many it seems another age so much seems to have changed and many things we hold dear now seem to mean nothing.

We miss the class and character that George W Bush, his wife and of course his father and mother portrayed to the American nation and the world.

I hope the following photos will help us remember time of maybe great sadness and challenge for the nation but also a feeling that there was somebody at the helm that was strong, confident and above all put his love for his country and fellow men first and always did and said what he believed to be the right thing to do.

Hey everybody: Just wanted to give you a Texas-sized ‘shout out’ from Big ‘D’ (Dallas)!

We’re having such a great time! The weather is perfect and the sight-seeing opportunities are endless.

This morning, we made the ‘pilgrimage’ to the President and Laura’s home on Daria Place . . . Even though the security gate is now up, we really enjoyed visiting the beautiful, yet unpretentious neighborhood of our wonderful First Couple — interestingly, an elementary school is literally across the street!

This evening, we spent some time sipping coffee on benches situated within the Laura Bush promendade at SMU — our hotel is literally across the street. What an incredibly touching gift from Governor Bush to his beautiful First Lady!

Tomorrow is the big day — the President’s speech begins at 2PM central time . . . I hope Fox News covers at least some portion of it:

I just read the article from Hillbuz and was going to post it here because everyone needs to see it. It was just thrilled to see that doubters are finally seeing what we always knew. I hope the President surfs the net.
I just submitted the link to Drudge report - hope he posts it so it will really take off.

I wondered if you would be in Dallas tomorrow. My husband and I are driving up from Austin in the morning. I am just so excited. You probably already know that you can’t take a purse or camera into the auditorium. Cellphones are allowed though. Have a wonderful time at the event.

Yes, I’m bummed about the ‘no camera’ rule; fortunately, cell phones can perform most of the functions of a camera!

My mouth is hanging open. I kept waiting to read that the writer was being sarcastic. It is a miracle that people are really and truly waking up to the truth about President and Mrs. Bush. Too bad it took so long, but we will take it. I really can't believe this article! Wow.

So glad to hear you are having a great time. I hope you will show us pictures! I will be thinking of you tomorrow as you are in the same room with them....how very exciting!!! I am flying to Michigan tomorrow and won't be able to watch the webcast---I hope they rerun it so I can see it later. I loved getting a very nice email from the foundation inviting us to view the webcast.
