I agree we need to not get over confident. The same can be said here in Virginia. We have the wind at our backs but it always helps to watch out for unforeseen obstacles.

Please stop by the FReepathon thread and give it a bump. If you haven’t donated yet, please give it some thought.

Thank you!

I get the Syracuse TV stations. The ads have totally changed in the last 7 days. Seen ads today I never saw before. One showing Owens and Dede with British crowns on their heads, calling them “picked by party bosses” and then Hoffman called a candidate “of the people.”

She was the one that caused me to donate twice from Ohio.

To 12 - Mrs Palin isn’t the only conservative, but it appears that she, and Michele Bachmann, are the only ones willing to forego polls and personal ambition and speak from their hearts as well as their brilliant minds.

I think we will find out that choosing Scozzafava was orchestrated by the Dems....right up to Obama.

This plan was hatched before the appointment of McHugh.

This plan was hatched before the appointment of McHugh.

Do you think this is a warning to future Republicans who might be tapped by Obama to take an administration position?

Judd Gregg almost fell for it. Fortunately, the Obama administration showed their cards too early by announcing moving the Census from Commerce to the White House before Gregg had his confirmation hearings, and he wisely backed out.

That’s great to hear. Apparently a Big influx of money has come into his campaign. Love your description of the ad you saw — sounds effective.

On the Free Republic Freepathon: It only took one month (and a few days ‘cause we aren’t there quite yet) to take in the Dollars for this quarter. The 3rd Qtr took two months to get this far. Yahoo Freepers and Yahoo NY23 Voters.

>> NY-23 isn’t Chicago <<

You can say that again. I just drove thru the district, down I-87 from the Canadian border to Lake George. The area looks an awful lot like Alaska. So Sarah’s endorsement absolutely must have been a big help!

It ain’t over until the last vote is cast, anything can happen”

Ain’t over till the fat lady (Scozzafava) sings. And she already did her singing this morning, when she endorsed Owens, so it's essentially over. :)

To be completely accurate, Pawlenty did not endorse until three days after Palin and his initial comment upon hearing about Palin's endorsement (I haven't been following it) was less than inspiring.

45% is running away?”

In a 3 way race, where no one has ever polled even close to 45% before (best Scozzafava ever did beforeeven when she was in the lead, was around 35%), the answer is yes.

I am not nearly as sanguine as others. Dede’s husband has SEIU and Acorn ties, Biden is going into the district tomorrow, and RAT volunteers are streaming over from Vermont. I hope the GOP voting faithful know what is at stake because Doug is going to be villified as an extremist monster.

The New York State Conservative Party was the game changer, when they offered Hoffman their line.
