Hey!

I will not vote for one because he appears to be the winner!

I will not fail to vote for my choice because he looks like he will lose!

I will never not vote for the guy someone else tells me not to vote for!

I will never again vote for the lesser appearing of evils!

I will vote based on principle; and that includes not voting if I see fit!

Pick it over—you get the picture!

From a macro perspective, what happened when we went with “go along to get along” candidates in 2006 and 2008? We got trounced.

No one on our side was more willing to kowtow to the illegal aliens. What happened? McCain got shellacked in that demographic.

The reason is simple: When the choice is democrat and democrat-lite, why would any voter choose democrat lite?

When the choice is conservative vs. democrat, conservatism wins.

Wake up, Newt. For a bright guy you’re incredibly obtuse.

I thought Hoffman is leading in the polls. Don’t see how a vote for Hoffman helps the democrat. A vote for Hoffman in this case, helps win the seat. The republican cannot win.

He doesn’t understand that we don’t care about winning some stupid “game” anymore. What is the point of even belonging to a political party if one acts liberal and says they are liberal, and the other acts liberal and says they are conservative? There’s just not enough there to get me to come out to vote, sorry.

And, Gingrich is a damned liar.

He claims local republicans unanimously voted to appoint Scozzafava?? See this article for the real story: http://tcotreport.com/23ny1.html

Yesterday Gingrich claimed that the former republican rep in the district, McHugh, was pro-choice and pro-gay marriage. That was a lie too: http://www.ontheissues.org/NY/John_McHugh.htm

Finally, it’s breathtakingly cynical for Gingrich to argue this on 10th amendment grounds. Gingrich, which candidate is more likely to protect the 10th amendment limit on federal government power: Hoffman the conservative? Or Scozzafava, who reportedly is in favor of the Obama “stimulus” plan, in favor of federal card check legislation, in favor of sweeping federal health care takeover, etc., etc., etc.

Newt is vermin.

“In this case, Scozzafava IS the 3rd party candidate - she needs to drop out.”

Exactly. The conservative should have been the Republican candidate in the first place. The only way to correct that mistake is to throw support behind the conservative anyway.

But no, can’t do that. If even one little third party candidate is elected our polical process, and possibly the Republic itself, will cease to function. Man, these fellas are myopic. Win, win, win, at any cost. Who cares if we become de-facto Democrats, so long as we win. Can they not perceive any benefit from losing? I can think of several outcomes better than a liberal with an R behind her name. One of them is a Democrat being in office instead. Another is a warning shot to Republicans in other states for running liberals. Still another is forestalling the possibility that conservative independents win’t pass by the GOP.

Seriously, these guys act like a 50s movie robot after a spring pops loose in its head whenever someone questions the efficacy of choosing between the parties. Does not compute! Danger! Danger!

Gingrich has now tied a boat anchor around his own feet. If Hoffman wins, Newt loses. Just whose water is he carryng? He needs to get off that couch with Nancy Pelosi.

What’s there to prevent Scozzafava from jumping parties after elected as Jumping Jim Jeffords did to give congressional power to the Democrats?

I suspect that is one of the reasons for Newt's stance on this election. He doesn't want to scare more RINOs into switching sides if they see full GOP assaults on their liberal values. So Newt feels he is sacrificing himself to keep the RINOs from feeling alienated by our party. Pretty dumb inside the beltway logic but there it is.

I am surprised that a video or transcript of Gingrich on Fox&Friends Sunday morning hasn't made it to the Internet (that I can find).

No matter what happens, as Rush says, “Do not look for validation from the state controlled media”.

A win for the Dems in NY means a gigantic scare to the GOP. They will learn that we are not afraid to give up an empty ‘win’ on principle.

This looks like the RINO “perfect storm”.
Nothing to lose by voting for Hoffman. The other two outcomes are the same thing.

I was thinking, after Hoffman wins, what does the RNC do next time around? Re-nominate a RINO? Admit they were wrong and beg Hoffman to be their candidate? Maybe Newt will move there and run ;o)

RINOs who agree with the principles of the modern Democrat Party will do all they can to see that those agenda items are pushed through. Jumping ship and swimming for the other team to keep them in control of Congress is not a stretch.

Newt should wise up. The DNC tried to oust Joe Lieberman and it didn’t work.

The GOP treats Conservatives the way the Donks treat minorities.

“Booga Booga! You must vote for us or else! Don’t even think about leaving the plantation, there’s monsters out there! Booga Booga!”

What’s next?
NRCC commercials saying that voting for Hoffman will mean more conservative churches will burn?

What ever Newt. Not going to buy that reasoning/threat anymore. We need to vote for CONSERVATIVES who will actually represent us. If you think that ...woman... is going to vote in the conservative caucus, you are OUT OF YOUR MIND and we should not be listening to you. Because from all appearances, Dede is going to vote with Nancy no matter WHAT party she is in.

Damn, you would think that Newt thinks we are stupid or something... dang.

These elections ARE up to WE THE PEOPLE. Not to be dictated by a talking head, who probably is paid to endorse...
