You might think a posthumous Medal of Honor award ceremony would be a somber occasion, but not everyone would agree with you. Either this is an especially skillful photo shop effort or Michelle Obama has no clue whatsoever about the nature of this event. U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Jared C. Monti’s parents received the award for him. I hope they didn’t notice the first lady’s stunningly inappropriate dress, but that’s unlikely.

Wow. And the eye-to-eye glare between Obama and the father. You can’t quite see Obama’s expression from that angle, but I’ll bet it’s pretty hateful.

It amazes me that petty and childish threads like this always get the most attention.
Trashing Michelle (a/o the Obama kids) does nothing for us — except to make Conservatives look foolish and vindictive for losing the election.
Yes, her fashion choice would not have been mine, but it’s not like she showed up for the MOH Award in a bikini (Now THAT would be news!)

It’s hard to imagine a more wildly inappropriate outfit for such a solemn and somber occasion. This goes back to our conversation about how she must be doing this deliberately to poke a finger in the eye of traditional American values. I’m becoming more and more convinced of this.
