Keith Olbermann is a reprehensible swine, on a good day. The last thing I want to see when I turn on the television to watch the greatest rivalry on earth (Packers v. Bears) is the smirking face of the least talented, least fair, least honest person on television doing the pre-game show. It turned my stomach and I turned the channel. I did the same at halftime and I'm certainly not the only one. Olbermann is not funny anymore and he is such a partisan scumbag that it is an insult to football fans to have him anywhere near the greatest sport there is. So let's get him booted off. I wrote an email to NBC Sports President Dick Ebersol and so should you. Tell your friends, send Rush a note, Tell O' Reilly, let's put the screws to these people and get that scumbag off our football and back to the channel where all 50 of his fans watch him.

I did the same on Sunday night I listened to the play by play on radio as I watch the game.
Money talks, if you want the network to listen go after the advertisers.
Here we were in my backyard, sitting at the picnic table while watching the pre-game show in anticipation of the season opener between our beloved Packers and the not-so-beloved Bears.
I wanted to mute the TV, and listen to Wayne Larrivee and Larry McCarren on the radio, but there’s a problem: It seems the TV is 2-3 seconds BEHIND the radio broadcast.
Is there any way to fix this?
Keep in mind my outside TV is using a bunny-ears antenna.
I refuse to watch football on NBC. Simple as that.
It would be fun to see several thousand folks show up at one of the games that NBC will televise AND make a scene.
Second, he tried to do Augusta one year and the Augustans told CBS that he would not be welcomed back, mainly because he did no homework on the game nor on the players.
He's always impressed me as a pretty-boy who never learned anything and is proud of it.
I also watch the NFL Network on Sunday morning until the network pre-game shows start. Anything to avoid Chris Vermin and his Babbling Band of Bumbling Boobs. "Neon Deion" can be a little overbearing at times, but even he has figured out that it's the game that gives him a job, not the other way around.
He sucks as a sports commentator and he has shown he cannot be a sports commentator without injecting his politics into his commentary.
1. I don’t watch the NBC pregame/half/postgame
2. I stopped watching Cris Collinsworth after his Olympics interview with Kobe Bryant, when he ask Kobe how he he could be so proud to represent the US, he ask questions as if it was out of the norm and he was suprised Kobe would be proud.
3. Hard enough watching two sorry teams like the Packers and Bears, they may have 10 wins between the 2 of them this year, both those teams are going down this year, yea baby, go Falcons!
I just sent an email to both of those addresses saying I will not watch SNF with him on..thanks for the tip..
I will say one thing. The reason why Steve Spurrier left was because he was tired of Gator fans complaining about 10 win seasons.
Now of course at Notre Dame, the alumni would be every bit as demanding, but I can clearly see from many of my fellow Gator brethren, that they now pretty much demand a Championship every year, at least an SEC title, and for some that won't be enough. Even two years removed from back-to-back basketball titles, I hear a lot of Gator fans starting to get on Billy Donovan. And that's just wrong.
Yes these are great times for football at UF, but with Tebow leaving, we are probably due for a few down years after this one, I just hope the UF faithful cut Meyer a little more slack than they did Spurrier. (Now Ron Zook on the other hand, that's another story)
Brian Kelly, OTOH, is easily one of the top 5 COLLEGE coaches that will move on after this year.
I miss Madden!!! They lost me as a viewer this year.
Tony Gonzales. Our loss (Kansas City Fan Here) your gain.
Or Steve Spurrier at Florida? ;)
I agree. It's enough to turn us fans off, indefinitely. What happened to Kimmel? Dennis Miller? They were actually funny, and not sneeringly offensive. Does Olbermann realize many of the fans tuning in for the game are the same folks he routinely smears over and over? Yuck.
I have digital cable and experienced no problem.
Yes I did!!! When they showed him...right at the beginning where he gives his two cents before the camera swings over to Chris Collingsnotworthash*t....I thought...what the heck is that on his head...a weave, plugs...it was a “Biden”
‘Well, considering Faust was a HIGH SCHOOL coach, not a very intelligent decision by ND. Your comment is quite ridiculous - apples & oranges - sounding very much like liberal troll.
Brian Kelly, OTOH, is easily one of the top 5 COLLEGE coaches that will move on after this year. ‘
Faust ‘sucess’ at Moeller was based on his ability to recruit like a college coach, Moeller grads routinely ensured top notch HS players around the country got jobs at GE and other large corporations here. I think its a great example, but you can have your opinion. No big deal to me.
Brian Kelly isn’t going anywhere. You want to believe that, knock yourself out. You can ping me each of the next five years to say “Sorry, I was wrong” if you wish.
Finally, the comment about ‘liberal troll’. Great example of shooting off your mouth without a hint of knowledge about me here or elsewhere under this particular screen name. You simply have no idea how ridiculous that assertion makes you look in this forum.
Have a nice day.
Good points.
