I’m sorry, but the anti-birthers are almost as nutty as the truthers.

Ask them: “Why shouldn’t Obama make his vault birth certificate public?”

After going through the exercise of explaining that the one that was displayed on the web has as much validity as a carnival novelty item (Sun Yat-Sen, the father of modern China has one, as does Obama’s Indonesan born sister) and that newspaper notices can be placed by grandparents, you end up with a lot of dumb looks.

And I prefer the term “disclosurist” rather than “birther”. My mystery can be solved by a single piece of paper, which DOES exist, and is sitting under lock and key in a known Hawaiian location.

Because the Certification of Live Birth that he posted suffices to prove his birth in Hawaii, and there is absolutely no reason to believe he was born anywhere else. Also, you have to be a loon to think it plausible that a woman 8 months pregnant, in 1961, would travel half way around the world to Kenya, just to give birth in third world conditions, at a time when the journey would likely take several days and multiple modes of highly primitive transportation.

And no, it is not true that any of his relatives in Kenya claim to have whitnessed his birth there.

I suppose, if Bambi really wanted to, he could release his vault copy. But why should he, if keeping it hidden gets his opposition distracted with this birther nonsense?

That's why, I suppose, the State Department accepts it as proof of US birth in passport applications. LOL. You birthers are funny.

Everything else you say in your post is simply, and categorically false.

(Sun Yat-Sen, the father of modern China has one,

Not true. Sun Yat-Sen fruadulantly obtained a Certificate of Hawaiian Birth from the TERRITORY of Hawaii, 50 years before Obama was born and 48 years before Hawaii became a state.

That's not the same thing as the STATE-issued Certification of Live Birth that Obama posted.

as does Obama’s Indonesan born sister)

Not true.

and that newspaper notices can be placed by grandparents,

Not true. The newspaper announcements were based on data received directly from the Hawaii Department of Health. It says so right at the top of the newspaper page where they are printed, scanned copies of which are available all over the web. Did you even bother to look at them?

You really ought to try to verify things you read on the internet before accepting them wholesale.

Why aren’t folks looking at the his father’s citizenship? Doesn’t the law state that there has to be two natural citizens for eligibility?
